We're told to help those in need. But needing what,I ask?There are times when someone asks for something that assists their sin.Like, I've had people ask me to get them cigarettes,and even had a neighbor into drugs whose car was down ask me to take him to meet his drug dealer. Or let's say, what if someone's wife is away, and they ask me to tell their mistress he's home?.I also know a lady who does things in a not smart way, then wants me to cover her, but doesn't break out of it. What I'm saying is,isn't there a point where, if we're assisting in their sin,and instead of helping them, we're actually keeping them in sin?Besides that, wouldn't we ourselves be doing wrong ,by helping them sin?{Making it easier for them?}The Christians during the Tribulation, if someone says,my car is down, could you drive me to the center to have the mark stamped on me,should we do it because we're supposed to help?My point is, I think we should use judgement...don't you?

I agree with you. Like when my oldest son is stranded with no gas to get home or hungry because he is addicted to Heroin ... where am I showing him the love of Jesus and where am I entering into sin with him? I find myself continually asking God for mercy and wisdom as I know how much he suffers and the bondage he's in. I long for him to be free and I have to guard my heart and continually walk in love and wisdom speaking the truth in love. Jesus be lifted high.

Yup!! like this lady I deal with job related. She has a bad pattern of creating her own problems, then instead of taking responsibility for it, "dumps on" others to cover her.So by helping her, I feel I'm actually encouraging her in a bad habit..not to mention the inconvenience it puts on me.I guess praying they change is good for them, and also gets us out of an inconvenient situation.

We have to minister to non believers/sinners. Jesus was a friend of sinners not because he winked at sin, ignored sin, or enjoyed light-hearted revelry with those engaged in immorality. Jesus was a friend of sinners in that he came to save sinners and was very pleased to welcome sinners who were open to the gospel, sorry for their sins, and on their way to putting their faith in Him.
