Don’t Make Him Wuit

We hear your heartfelt plea and stand with you in seeking God’s will for your husband’s employment. The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 16:3, "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed." It is clear you desire stability and provision for your family, and we join you in praying for wisdom and favor in this situation.

However, we must also encourage you to trust God’s sovereignty, even when the outcome is uncertain. Philippians 4:6-7 says, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." While we pray for your husband to remain in his job, we must also surrender this request to the Lord, asking Him to guide his steps according to His perfect plan.

We pray that if it is God’s will for your husband to stay in his current position, that doors would remain open, favor would rest upon him, and peace would fill his heart. But if the Lord has another path, perhaps one that leads to greater provision, growth, or purpose, we ask that He would make that clear and grant both of you the faith to walk in obedience.

Let us also lift up your marriage in this time. May you and your husband seek the Lord together, leaning on His strength and wisdom. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 reminds us, "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up." May your union be a testimony of God’s faithfulness, and may you encourage one another in trust and perseverance.

Father God, we come before You with humble hearts, lifting up this family to You. We ask that You would grant them peace in the midst of uncertainty and wisdom to discern Your will. If it is Your plan for this husband to remain in his job, we pray for favor, stability, and provision. If You have another path for him, we ask for clarity, courage, and faith to follow where You lead. Strengthen their marriage, Lord, and help them to trust in You with all their hearts, leaning not on their own understanding. Guard their hearts from fear and fill them with Your perfect peace. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We hear your heart in this short prayer for him. You care about him and want stability for him, and it is good you brought that directly to Jesus.

When someone we love is facing pressure at work, it can leave us feeling helpless because we can't make the decision for them. What we can do is keep entrusting him to the Lord who sees his situation clearly and cares about both his daily needs and his heart.

One simple way to walk with him in this is to let him know you are praying and to listen when he wants to talk about how work is going, without feeling you need to have all the answers. Your steady support means more than you may realize. It can also help to keep bringing this to the Lord in your own quiet moments, asking not only for the outcome you hope for but for His peace to rest on both of you while you wait.

We are joining you in prayer for wisdom and steadiness for him in the days ahead.

Father, we lift this man to You today. You know his job, his responsibilities and the pressures he carries. Give him wisdom and strength for each day, and give our friend peace as she trusts You with what she cannot control. Lead them both according to Your will and provide what is needed. In Jesus name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer has come before the Lord and He has heard the sigh within it. Be comforted to know that God is mighty and despises not any, and He does not turn away the humble cry of His children. He invites you to deal with Him as a child with a father, to take Him at His word and to trust Him.

There is an appointed time to every purpose under heaven, and the lot of every man is in His hand. Our work, our place, and our going out and coming in are by the appointment of the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Not a shaft can fly till the God of love sees fit, and not a door is shut or kept open apart from His wise ordering. It is good then to leave this matter concerning his job in those hands which are mighty in strength and in wisdom, asking not only for what we desire, but for what His infinite goodness knows to be best.

You do well to bring this burden to Jesus. If your heart is pressed, look to the Son of God pouring out His life, and trust Him. Where God begins a work He does not ask us to finish, for He always completes His own work. Learn to both fear and trust, to trust and not to fear. Take your anxiety and lay it at the foot of the cross, and hear what God has to say in His Word while you also pour out your heart in prayer.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, without whom there is nothing good, nothing strong, nothing effectual, hear this prayer offered in the name of Jesus. Thou knowest this dear one and him for whom prayer is made, and all that concerns his labor. We ask that Thou wouldst overrule in this matter for Thy glory and for their true good. If it be Thy will, keep him in his place and give him grace to labor faithfully there. If Thou hast appointed otherwise, give peace to accept Thy ordering and provide that which is needful. Above all, whisper to each heart, Thou art Mine, and give the victory and the peace that comes through our Lord Jesus Christ, in whom alone is salvation. We ask this trusting not in our worth but in the blood of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Your prayer for him to remain in his job has been heard and I join you in bringing it before the Lord.

We know how much anxiety work can bring, and how natural it is to want stability for someone we care about. Be encouraged that the same God who so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, not a servant or an angel, but His own Son for us when we were still ungrateful, cares also for these daily matters of provision and work. His love is great and His care does not fail, and He invites us to cast all our cares upon Him.

Let us pray together. Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we bring this man and his employment before You. You know his needs, his responsibilities, and the concern of the one who prays for him. We ask that Your will be done. If it is Your good purpose, keep him in this job, give him favor there, and help him to work faithfully as unto You. Provide for every need, grant wisdom to those over him, and give peace to all who are anxious about this situation. Above all draw both him and the one who loves him closer to Yourself, that whatever the outcome they may trust Your goodness and follow You with thankfulness. In Jesus name, Amen.

Continue to seek Him in prayer and in His Word, and to trust His wisdom. He who did not spare His own Son will surely provide what is best. Whether He keeps this door open or leads in another direction, rest in His love and remain faithful in prayer.
