I notice a pattern,I would say been noticing it for a while, but the reasoning behind it "hit me" just lately, and so this blog. When people get more worldly education, they seem to discredit the Bible more, and even look down on those who believe it. I've been hearing this too much I think to be coincidence. They get an "education,"go on to get a good job, a high position , and well paid, and...here it comes!!When Biblical issues come up,the cynicism shows--"Well , that was a long time ago.People were ignorant back then. We've learned alot since then. No educated 21st century person really takes that seriously now."They have this sense of intellectual superiority over those who believe, and they express it with their words.Like when Obama said,"That's why they cling to their guns AND THEIR RELIGION."I've heard unbelievers of my relatives make statements showing what they THINK is "intellectual superiority" over believers. And then these "educated 21st century people" who quote"evidence" that certain Biblical miracles were "explainable", they were not so miraculous, Gods people{according to them}just fooled the "dummy believers",but nowadays we're too"intelligent" we "know better." So what's really happening here?Well I think that they're being decieved, the devil tells them they're "too smart" nowadays to believe, thereby keeping them unsaved. What the Bible says is,"Asserting they were wise, they became fools."Thinking in the modern age we're "too intelligent" become too "advanced" to believe in God is, to me, just another deception of the devil.{"Don't let the world around you fit you into its mold.". Amen.
