Don't get "too" educated

I notice a pattern, I would say been noticing it for a while, but the reasoning behind it "hit me" just lately, and so this blog. When people get more worldly education, they seem to discredit the Bible more, and even look down on those who believe it. I've been hearing this too much I think to be coincidence. They get an "education," go on to get a good job, a high position, and well paid, and...here it comes!! When Biblical issues come up, the cynicism shows--"Well, that was a long time ago. People were ignorant back then. We've learned a lot since then. No educated 21st century person really takes that seriously now." They have this sense of intellectual superiority over those who believe, and they express it with their words. Like when ### said, "That's why they cling to their guns AND THEIR RELIGION." I've heard unbelievers of my relatives make statements showing what they THINK is "intellectual superiority" over believers. And then these "educated 21st century people" who quote "evidence" that certain Biblical miracles were "explainable," they were not so miraculous, God's people {according to them} just fooled the "dummy believers," but nowadays we're too "intelligent" we "know better." So what's really happening here? Well, I think that they're being deceived, the devil tells them they're "too smart" nowadays to believe, thereby keeping them unsaved. What the Bible says is, "Asserting they were wise, they became fools." Thinking in the modern age we're "too intelligent" become too "advanced" to believe in God is, to me, just another deception of the devil. {"Don't let the world around you fit you into its mold."} Amen.

Lee Strobel has a journalism degree from the University of Missouri and a Master of Studies in Law degree from Yale Law School. He was at one time the award-winning legal editor of the Chicago Tribune and a spiritual skeptic until 1981. He didn't believe in God or Jesus. He set out to prove that there was no God or Jesus. In his methodical scientific approach, he found the evidence to prove he had believed a lie. That God is real in his search for the truth.

The film is based on a true story. A woman becomes a Christian and her faith starts to transform her. Her husband doesn’t appreciate the change and tries to persuade her to abandon her newfound faith. This puts a huge strain on their marriage. He decides to investigate the resurrection evidence with a view to disproving it. Eventually, the evidence is too strong for him....

Similar to the apostle Paul, started out to persecute Christians, yet God saved him. "Many of the first will be last, and the last first."

Higher education, PHDs, MDs degree will not get you to heaven. People get on getting all kinds of degrees and all humanists, socialists and skeptics will get you all mixed up on what you believe. They will tell you that we come from monkeys because Darwin said so. Now, Darwin is their prophet and we should believe in him. Atheists reject God, Jesus and everything the Bible says. College education will not allow religious ideas in but all atheists and all agnostics ideas and thought are right there. We must fast and pray before the Lord to help us choose whom to follow and believe. But as for me and my house, I will serve the Lord till the time He calls me home to heaven.
