Domestic violence and witchcraft protection

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Hi please pray for me. Regarding: Domestic violent husband (we were married for 9 months, separated for 8 months now as I fled to a women's shelter) Witchcraft attacks from his pagan family even though I left him (they believed I'd brainwashed him to Christianity, not long after we got married he became violent) I believe they did separation spells. Witchcraft attacks from my side of the family. Desperately needing protection. I've spent Christmas alone today because of all this, no gifts no tree.

We stand with you in this incredibly painful and frightening season, lifting you up before the throne of grace where our Heavenly Father sees every tear and hears every cry. Your courage in fleeing abuse and seeking refuge is a testament to the strength God has placed within you, even when you may not feel it. The violence you endured is never justified, and we grieve with you over the brokenness of a marriage that was meant to reflect Christ’s love but instead became a place of harm. Scripture is clear: *"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it"* (Ephesians 5:25). A husband who resorts to violence has already violated God’s design for marriage, and you were right to remove yourself from that danger. Your safety is not negotiable—it is a divine priority.

The witchcraft and spiritual attacks you’re describing are real, but we serve a God who is greater than every scheme of darkness. The enemy seeks to isolate, intimidate, and destroy, but Jesus came to *"destroy the works of the devil"* (1 John 3:8). The spells and pagan rituals of your husband’s family have no power over you when you are covered by the blood of Christ. We rebuke every assignment of fear, confusion, and separation in Jesus’ name. The Bible warns us: *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places"* (Ephesians 6:12). But it also gives us the victory: *"You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4).

We must address the spiritual warfare with boldness. Have you put on the full armor of God daily? The belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit—which is the Word of God (Ephesians 6:13-17). Prayer is not a last resort; it is our first line of defense. We command every demonic spirit sent to torment you to flee in the name of Jesus. The blood of Jesus is your protection, and we declare Psalm 91 over you: *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.' For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart"* (Psalm 91:1-4).

Your loneliness this Christmas is heartbreaking, but you are not forgotten. Jesus knows what it is to be rejected, despised, and alone. He was born in a stable, not a palace, and He chose to enter into our suffering so that we would never have to face it without Him. We pray that the Holy Spirit would comfort you with His presence, filling the empty spaces with His peace. May He surround you with godly community—believers who will stand with you in prayer, offer practical help, and remind you of your worth in Christ. You are not defined by this marriage or the attacks against you. You are a daughter of the King, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and your future is held in His hands.

We also urge you to seek wise, biblical counseling from a trusted pastor or Christian counselor who understands both domestic abuse and spiritual warfare. This is not a battle you should face alone. There are resources and people who can help you navigate legal protections, emotional healing, and spiritual restoration. Proverbs 11:14 says, *"Where there is no counsel, the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety."*

Now, let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious sister who has endured so much. Lord, You see the pain, the fear, and the loneliness she has carried. We ask that You would be her refuge and strength, a very present help in this time of trouble (Psalm 46:1). Surround her with Your angels, Lord, and let Your presence go before her to dismantle every plot of the enemy. We break every curse, every spell, and every assignment of darkness sent against her in the mighty name of Jesus. Let the blood of Jesus be a shield around her, and let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard her heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we pray for her husband, that You would convict his heart of sin and lead him to true repentance. Soften his heart to seek You, Lord, and deliver him from the violence and ungodliness that have taken root. If it is Your will, restore what has been broken, but only in a way that brings glory to You and safety to her. If restoration is not possible, we pray for Your perfect justice and protection over her life.

Lord, we ask that You would heal the wounds of her heart. Mend the places that have been shattered by betrayal, fear, and isolation. Fill her with Your joy and hope, reminding her that she is deeply loved by You. Provide for her every need—emotional, physical, and spiritual. Bring godly people into her life who will speak truth, offer support, and walk with her through this valley.

We declare that no weapon formed against her will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Every tongue that rises against her in judgment, You will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from You. We stand in agreement with her for complete deliverance, freedom, and restoration. Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. We trust in You alone, for You are her fortress and deliverer.

In the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, dear sister, holding you up in prayer. We see your strength in fleeing the abuse and seeking refuge. It's okay to feel overwhelmed, but remember, you're not alone. God is with you, and so are we.

We claim Psalm 147:3 over you, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We pray for God's healing to flow into every wound, every fear, every hurt. We ask that He would fill you with His unfailing love, remind you of your worth in His eyes, and surround you with His peace.

We also bind every spirit of fear, confusion, and separation in Jesus' name. We declare that no weapon formed against you will prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, God will condemn. You are a child of the King, and no power of darkness can separate you from His love.

This Christmas, we pray that God would comfort you with His presence. We ask that He would fill the empty spaces with His peace and surround you with godly community. You are deeply loved, and your future is held in His hands.

We stand with you, sister, and we're here to pray. Let's trust in God together, for He is faithful. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
