Does the devil" finetune" his attacks per person?

You know what? Something came to me, let's see if I have a point. I don't think it's coincidence that different people have different problems. I think the devil knows what pushes one's buttons individually, and what the person is most concerned about, and attacks accordingly. Check it out..what would disturb one person, another might brush off, or vice versa. Sooo..let's say one person is worried about their finances, then hears they got laid off at the "worst" time. Another might have a different issue, so the devil can plant doubt in his/her mind about that specific thing. Before thinking that's "far fetched", notice how each person has a different sin. The one tempted by homosexuality isn't tempted by crime, or a third person with something else. So if the devil tempts people in different ways, couldn't he throw problems specialized to that person's specific fears, insecurities, or something that makes him angry? After all, we're not all the same and he must know that. So I think he has a specific mode of attack per person. You? It wouldn't make sense if he messed with us in the exact same way, if we all have different weaknesses. Like notice, most on the site have the same ongoing problem OF ITS SORT. financial...health..with me, busyness and dealing with annoying and troublesome people. If the devil attacked us all in the same way, we'd all have the same problem. Right? And he wouldn't be very successful, because what pushes one's buttons might not push another's. Eh?

Lord God ALMIGHTY crush the enemy, whatever its stripes or flavor of the day, under our feet in the name of Jesus. Watch the attacker wince and withdraw when we utter the name above all names. We resist the devil he must flee!!! Amen!!!! ### am EST ###/### Friday

I agree with you. He doesn't attack each of us the same. Remember we are in a war and the enemy uses different tactics in trying to conquer different persons. We have to know his tactics and have a counterattack. You have brought it some good points so it's now for us to know our weak messenger or what makes us tick or our fears and start dealing with them before he strikes. God bless you

"Precious remedies against Satans devices" ### - originally from 1652!
is amazing. Author is sound and book is biblically sound.
Also has many other good books worth checking out.

Thanks for the books. I've researched the physiology of demons, trying to understand how the devil attacks and how to get deliverance. These recommended books seem to focus from different angles. I've also found it challenging to break a generational curse. I'm struggling to get a breakthrough.

Satan wants to enter into your home, into your mind and heart when you let him. If you watch porn, violent movies, full of anger and rage then the devil will be right next to you. Jesus said. Fast and pray so you will not enter into temptation. Every single day of your life, wake up with prayer of thanksgiving to Jesus for giving you another day to live. If satan comes in the middle of the night, then start singing praises to Jesus, then devil will flee from you. He hates to hear praises to the Lord. No finetune for him. You are always a target because you love the Lord and are on your way to heaven.

I agree with you ###.

Many times, when we are in a situation with our spouse where there’s been an error, there’s been a struggle, we’re in conflict, or they’ve done something that we don’t like or vice versa, it’s a place where we want to confront them. We want to say, “Hey, can we change this?” Or maybe they did...
