Does It Get Better?

I have been unemployed for more than a year. My mother passed at the beginning of 2012. I had to move out of my house because I had to sell it. My birthday is this Friday and I will be 49. I am fighting becoming depressed and angry everyday. Please pray for me so I am able to thank God for all the blessings He has bestowed on me and the ones to come.

Dear God, as it says in Your Word: Oh Lord, Help me be strong and courageous. Empower, lift up, and encourage me that I will not be terrified of any thing, person nor circumstance, neither let me be discouraged, for You, the Lord my God will be with me wherever I go (Joshua 1:9) Please bless "luviee" through this process and if is in Your will let there me a miracle on Friday as a gift.

It is hard to praise God when anger & fear is overwhelming. I am in the midst of a storm in my life, family, career but I do find some strength in praising God and thanking him in advance for winning this battle for you. He is a faithful God.. I know that for sure. I will pray for you & your situation keep your head up. Our God has a great plan for you & I .. We just have to wait on his time. Bless you

The battles we face in this world are making all of us weary. The enemy’s attacks are getting stronger as the forces of evil seek to wound and discourage those who belong to Christ. Many believers are crying out for Christ to return soon and save them from all this darkness. We are indeed in the devil’s crosshairs and he is not backing down. His plan is to kill your hope, steal your joy and destroy your future. His arsenal is filled with weapons of lies and discouragement aimed toward every believer. His fiery darts of fear and doubt can pierce the hearts of struggling saints causing some to wonder if God really hears their prayers. We are all suffering the effects of a fallen world as we endure hardship of every kind. As difficult as it may seem, the truth remains the victory of Christ is at the core of a believer’s every trial.

That profound truth should give hope to those who are going through serious trials. Keep in mind that all we fear is under God’s sovereign authority and plan. Our battles have been won, and although we still must fight the good fight, believers are guaranteed the victory.
