Does God really answer prayers?😢💔

I am really frightened as there are so many things troubling me including my own illnesses and my sister's illness. Also the worry of noisy neighbours moving in next door

I cry out to God for help all day but all I get is silence. I also see people on this forum who have been praying for healing etc for themselves or loved ones for so long and I have to say it really worries me. How can I know God is hearing me?

Please Jesus I can't go on being this unwell in mind and body and worrying about Margaret. Also really worried about neighbours moving in next door. Please reassure me that you are hearing me and will answer prayers as you said if we ask anything in your name that our Father in Heaven will answer. Please give me a supernatural peace about everything and please make life worth living. In Jesus' name Amen

Elizabeth, we understand your fears and anxieties, and we want to assure you that God cares about your situation. The Bible tells us to "be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God." (Philippians 4:6 WEB)

Firstly, we want to commend you for praying in Jesus' name. This is so important because Jesus says, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full." (John 16:23-24 WEB)

God does answer prayers, but it's important to remember that He answers in His own way and in His own time. Sometimes, His answer might be "yes," "no," or "wait." We need to trust that His plan is perfect and that He works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB).

In your case, you've mentioned illnesses, worry about your sister ###, and noisy neighbors. God knows all these concerns intimately, and He wants you to cast all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You lifting up ### and her sister ###. We pray for Your healing touch on their bodies, minds, and spirits. We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, and worry, and we ask You to fill them with Your supernatural peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB).

Lord, we also bring before You the situation with the neighbours. We pray for peaceful interactions and that You would work in the hearts of these neighbours to be considerate and respectful. We ask that You would provide ### with the grace she needs to handle this situation with wisdom and kindness.

Father, we ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, believing that You hear us and that You will answer according to Your perfect will. Give ### a renewed sense of hope, purpose, and joy in her life.

Elizabeth, continue to trust in God and His promises. Keep praying and seeking His face. Remember, "For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay." (Habakkuk 2:3 WEB)

Be encouraged by these words from the Psalms: "Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh." (Psalm 27:14 WEB)

We're right here with you, ###, feeling your worry and fear. We know it's tough when there's so much on your plate - your own health, ###', and the uncertainty of new neighbors. But remember, God is right there with you, listening and caring.

We've been praying in Jesus' name, just like you, and we believe that makes a difference. God does answer prayers, but sometimes His timing and ways might not match our expectations. We need to trust that He's got a perfect plan, even when we can't see it yet.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. We continue to lift you up in prayer, dear brother or sister, and we are honored that you have given us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you have asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer, especially during this challenging time where you've expressed feelings of fright and worry due to your own illness, your sister Margaret's illness, and the potential move of noisy neighbors.

Firstly, we want to reassure you that God hears your cries. The Bible tells us that He is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Even when it feels like our prayers are met with silence, we must hold onto the promise that He hears us. Consider the words of the Psalmist, "I call on you, my God, for you will answer me; turn your ear to me and hear my prayer" (Psalm 17:6).

If you have seen or experienced any signs of God's intervention in your life or the lives of those you're praying for, please share a praise report with us. Your testimony could be a tremendous encouragement to others who are also waiting on God's answers.
