1Cor,10:13 reads there hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to be it.
It's hard sometimes, to see clearly when we are faced with trials. Sometimes it is so severe that you wonder if God is asleep literally, it's even harder sometimes to even believe that God has a plan in all of this, but really, does he? Does God have a plan?
In the book of Genesis starting from chapter 37 we are introduced to a young man by the name of Joseph, who had a dream(God's plan), we follow the story where it tells of his various trials, thrown in a pit, a 17 year old sold to slavery, yet in all this he remained with the Lord, we later learn how he was tempted to fornication, but again choose to remain with the Lord, and flee.He was again thrown to prison and by now we would be saying oh Lord when it rains it pours, trials after trials Lord? sometimes we are tempted to even say when will it end? but Joseph remained with God. In the end we learn of Joseph giving solutions to problems and Joseph becoming prime minister.
We are told told of a very touching story in 2sam4 which really is a must read. Mephibosheth, age 5years who through no fault of his own became lame, it was an accident, he fell from his nurse hand. This young man who considered himself but like a dead dog, which is really touching because it's like he felt he was worth nothing. but watch later on in chapter9 with me there comes God's turn around,he was to receive from David such great blessings, he was not expecting it, he did not see that coming but suddenly it happened. again I say only God.
I could go on and show you moses who was indeed suppose to be dead as a male child but God had a plan.
I could go on to show you how Abraham and Sarah took matter's into their own hand, but God had a plan, even when we sometimes take matters into our own hand but when we redirect our lives, the wonders that he does.
How about Daniel?
I could indeed go on and on tonight and show you in different ways and show examples after examples. Through it all one fact remains God he is faithful, yes we will go through our share of trials, hardships, but God has proven time and time again that he is still God and how he when we least expect it could bless us, that time and again at the end we see breakthrough that it was not all for nothing, that our latter will be greater.
Romans8;28 And we know(not think) that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
2cor.12:9 ........ His grace is sufficient, his strength perfect in weakness
Let us each encourage one another to hold on to Jesus, cause he is not through with us yet, his purpose remains.
