Does evil come in "cycles?"

I notice something, which prompts this question. Like a lot of things come and go in cycles, like high tide and low tide, day and night, etc. Well, look at people these days, especially the ones born more recently. Pot is being hyped up like it's the greatest thing ever; more and more people are saying there's "nothing wrong with" being gay; marriage is looked upon as a joke these days, with divorce increasing, and not even long after the marriage. NOW, compare that to, say, how I hear from the previous generation, that, although unsaved and out in the world, they at least weren't so "open and accepting" of these sins. Now you could say, well we're likely in the last days now, so as 2 Timothy points out, the morals are going down the tubes. BUT, when you look further back in time, we see the Roman Empire, Sodom and Gomorrah, others who were every bit as "into" these sins as nowadays. So it leads me to ask, just as there are cycles with the tides, night and day, etc., and God knowing the pattern of things and in control of them, can it be that evil comes in "cycles" like other things? It appears so.

1 To every [thing there is] a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up [that which is] planted;

Sin and evil comes whenever we let satan in our heart. Do not let him in your house or your heart. He will make your life miserable.

Stay away from any sin and evil against God. Remember what happened to Sodom and Gommorrah, to the people in Noah's time. Suddenly they will be punished by God. Be faithful to God's word and to Jesus. He is coming soon to take us all home to heaven.

Call on the Lord when you are being tempted by satan. Sin and evil shall not enter heaven. Be ye holy says the Lord. Let us all obey His word.

Sin and evil comes in all kinds of disguises. Sometimes it will be an innocent commentary where they tell you to watch porn to get away from depression. That comes from Satan himself. He wants you to be full of depression and guilt. Sometimes it will come as a suggestion to cheat customers and ask for more money you are not entitled to have. Any sin, anything that displeases the Lord will not make us happy or joyful. Hear Jesus words. Go, and sin no more.
