Disciple of Prayer
Hi everyone, I would greatly appreciate your prayers- I have a very severe brain disease and mental illness called schizophrenia, I am on some very powerful medication for it that helps me a lot, however I saw my doctor yesterday and she took it, won't let me have it anymore. I am now becoming DEATHLY ill. I need a miracle healing of my disease, I need God's intervention, God is now the only one that can help me! Please pray for a miracle! Thank you!

We lift you up before the Father in this time of deep distress, knowing that He is the Great Physician, the One who holds all things together by the word of His power. Your suffering is not unseen by Him, and we stand with you in faith, crying out for His mercy and intervention in your life. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 34:17-19, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* You are not forgotten, and your pain is not in vain. We also remember the promise in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,"* and we claim this over you in the mighty name of Jesus.

Yet we must also speak truth in love. While we pray earnestly for your healing—whether through divine miracle or the wisdom of godly medical care—we urge you to seek understanding about why this medication was discontinued. Proverbs 11:14 tells us, *"Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory."* It may be wise to seek a second opinion from another doctor who aligns with godly principles, ensuring that your treatment is both medically sound and honoring to God. Do not lose hope, but also do not neglect the practical steps God may be leading you toward. He often works through the hands of skilled professionals, and we pray He guides you to the right ones.

We also recognize the spiritual battle that often accompanies mental illness. Schizophrenia can distort reality, but we know that *greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world* (1 John 4:4). Put on the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), and resist the lies of the enemy with the truth of Scripture. You are not defined by this illness—you are a child of God, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Cling to Him, even when your mind feels under siege.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is suffering greatly. Lord, You know the depths of their pain, the fear and confusion that grip their mind and body. We ask for Your supernatural healing touch to restore their brain and mind to wholeness. If it is Your will, perform a miracle that leaves no doubt of Your power and love. Yet, even as we pray for healing, we ask for Your wisdom to guide them to the right medical care, the right doctors, and the right treatment. Give them clarity in this time of chaos, and surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

We rebuke the spirit of fear, confusion, and despair that seeks to overwhelm them. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command these spirits to flee and declare that their mind will be renewed by Your truth (Romans 12:2). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, who is our Comforter and Counselor (John 14:26). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted.

Father, we also ask that You move in the heart of their doctor. Soften their heart if there has been a misunderstanding or error, and grant them wisdom to act in a way that honors life and health. If there is a reason for this change that we do not yet understand, reveal it clearly and provide a path forward.

Most of all, Lord, we pray that through this trial, our brother/sister will draw closer to You. Let them feel Your presence in a tangible way, and let this season be a testimony of Your faithfulness. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Matthew 8:17). Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Even in this storm, He is with you. Keep praying, keep seeking Him, and do not isolate yourself—reach out to trusted believers who can support you in prayer and practical ways. You are not alone in this fight. We are standing with you, and most importantly, God is fighting for you. *"Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness"* (Isaiah 41:10). Hold fast to Him.

Dear friend, we're right here with you, holding you up in prayer. We know how scary and overwhelming this situation feels, but remember, God is right there with you, even in the darkest moments. We're claiming Psalm 34:18 over you, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." He sees you, He hears you, and He's not going to leave you in this storm.

We've been praying for clarity and understanding in this situation. We believe God wants you to seek a second opinion, to find a doctor who aligns with godly principles and can provide the best medical care. Trust that God is guiding your steps, even in this uncertainty.

We're also claiming Isaiah 40:31 over you, "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." Keep hoping, keep trusting, and keep fighting. You're not alone in this. We're standing with you, and most importantly, God is fighting for you.

Let's keep praying together, okay? "Lord, we come before You, asking for Your peace to guard our friend's heart and mind. Give them clarity, Lord. Guide them to the right doctor, to the right treatment. Comfort them, Lord. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Help them to trust in You, even when things don't make sense. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred honor of lifting you before the Lord in this critical time. Your request has weighed heavily on our hearts, and we have continued to intercede for you, asking God to extend His healing hand over your body, mind, and spirit. We know how deeply frightening and overwhelming this must feel—the sudden withdrawal of medication, the physical and emotional toll of your illness, and the desperate need for divine intervention. You are not forgotten, and you are not alone in this fight. Our prayers have been earnest, pleading for God’s mercy to sustain you, for His peace that surpasses understanding to guard your heart and mind, and for a supernatural touch that only He can provide.

If the Lord has moved in your situation—whether through renewed strength, a change in your circumstances, a medical breakthrough, or even a deepened sense of His presence—we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. Your testimony could be the very thing someone else needs to hold onto hope. If you are still waiting, still struggling, or if the burden feels even heavier now, we urge you to share an update so we can continue to stand with you in prayer. This is not a battle you were meant to face without the body of Christ surrounding you in faith.

We are also praying for wisdom—whether through a new doctor, an alternative treatment, or a clear direction from the Lord—and for His provision in every practical way. May He open doors no man can shut and remind you in the deepest part of your soul that He is your Healer, your Comforter, and your ever-present Help. Do not lose heart, beloved. The God who parts seas, raises the dead, and calms storms is the same God who sees you, loves you, and is working even now.

We will keep praying in Jesus’ name.
