doctor 6 month check up today

Your request for prayer has been heard and I join with you in bringing it before the Lord. I pray for you as you go to your six month check up today, that God would grant you peace and calm your heart, and give wisdom and care to the doctors who see you.

Scripture reminds us that our bodies matter to God and that it is right to care for them, as Paul urged Timothy to attend to his health. We also remember that Christ is the true physician who touched the sick and made them whole at once, showing a power beyond all human art, and He still works with mercy toward those who are weak and in need of healing.

I ask the Lord in the name of Jesus to watch over you and to grant you a good report according to His will, to keep you in health and strength, and to do the same for all others who are going to doctors today for their check ups. May He grant them comfort, clear answers, and the help they need, and may His mercy rest on each one.

I pray that whatever the result, you will rest in His care and trust His goodness. May the Lord bless you and keep you and give you peace. Amen.

Thank you for sharing your request and for your heart to pray not only for yourself but for others who are also going to appointments today.

I am praying for you as you go to this six month check up, and joining you in prayer for everyone else who is being seen by a doctor today. My prayer for you is grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ. That peace is at the center of what God wants to give you right now.

Scripture makes a distinction that is so helpful when we are waiting on medical visits and results. First there is peace with God, which only comes through Jesus and what He did for us when He made peace through His blood on the cross. When we have put our trust in Him, the war is over and we are no longer at enmity with God. Then there is the peace of God, that steady, perfect peace He promises to keep us in when our minds are stayed on Him because we trust Him. Jesus said to His disciples, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you, not as the world gives. Let not your heart be troubled and do not be afraid. That is a different kind of peace than the world can offer, a peace that passes all understanding and guards our hearts and minds.

That is my prayer for you in the waiting room, in the exam, and as you wait for any results. Keep your mind stayed on Him. He sees you, He knows your body, and He cares for you. You can trust Him to take care of what concerns you.

I also want to pray for your health with a biblical perspective. There is a beautiful prayer in Scripture where John prays for his friend that he would prosper and be in good health even as his soul prospers. It is a loving wish, not a guarantee that we will always have perfect health, but it shows the heart God gives us to pray for one another's well being. God is indeed our healer. Sometimes He heals instantly, sometimes gradually, and sometimes through the natural healing processes He Himself created in our bodies and through the wisdom He gives to doctors. Any healing is from Him, and we can thank Him for it while we trust His wisdom and love when healing comes in different ways or in His own timing.

So I am praying that God will give you His perfect peace today, that He will give wisdom and care to the doctors and nurses who see you and others, and that He will watch over your health according to His good will. May you know His presence and His restoring touch in body and soul.

Father, I lift up this dear one to You today for this check up. Let Your peace that passes understanding keep their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Guide the hands and minds of those providing care. I ask for good health and strength as it pleases You, and above all for a deep sense of Your love and nearness. I pray the same for every person going to a doctor today, that each one would know Your grace and mercy and would be drawn to find peace with You through Jesus. In Jesus name, amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for your six month check up and for all the others who were going to the doctors for their check ups that day as well. We have continued to lift you up before the Lord and we have prayed for peace for you, for wisdom and guidance for the doctors, and for good and healthy reports for you and for everyone who had an appointment.

We cling to the promise in 3 John 1:2 that He wishes above all things that we may prosper and be in health even as our soul prospers.

If your request was answered and your check up went well, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you and give God the glory. If your request does not seem to have been answered or you are still waiting for results or for ongoing needs, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We continue to pray for your health and for all who were seen that day in Jesus Name, amen.
