Do You Radiate Your Lord Daily?

DO YOU RADIATE YOUR LORD DAILY?
This is what God the LORD says– he who created the heavens and stretched them out, who spread out the earth and all that comes out of it, who gives breath to its people, and life to those who walk on it: “I, the LORD, have called you in righteousness; I will take hold of your hand. I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people and a light for the Gentiles, to open eyes that are blind, to free captives from prison and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness. I am the LORD; that is my name! I will not give my glory to another or my praise to idols. See, the former things have taken place, and new things I declare; before they spring into being I announce them to you.†Isaiah 42:5-9

Do you radiate Jesus as Lord of your life wherever you go? Do your family members, friends, neighbors and co-workers know that you are a believer? Do others see a difference in your Christian walk? Are you burdened about the salvation of others wherever you go that in some way you may radiate Jesus Christ and be an example? Do you know that your prayers for others could change people’s lives? My hope is that you answered this question with a quick and hearty “Yes†as the Lord wants you to be a light in this dark, sinful world that we live in.

As you and I go worship the King of Kings today, I pray that as you drive by your neighbors’ homes that you will start making an effort to pray for them to come to know Jesus Christ as Lord of their lives and attend a Bible-believing church. You and I are to be lighthouses wherever we go and pray for the many people we talk to for those few minutes to possibly make an everlasting impact or influence on their life. Will you start to share the Lord’s love to everyone you meet? Imagine if you just said to them, “God bless you.â€

We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands. The man who says, “I know him, but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But if anyone obeys his word, God’s love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did.†1 John 2:5-6

I do not think you or I have any idea of the importance of soul-winning for the salvation of our family members, friends, and co-workers. We know that there is a Heaven and a Hell, but often we think that everyone has their own freedom and choice whether they want to accept Jesus Christ as Lord of their lives. We often do not think the ones we know may die suddenly, but some do. God sent His only Son, Jesus Christ to die for all sinners. God’s goal is for all to come to know Jesus Christ.

You and I are to be the witnesses to share the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ every day of our lives. We are all commissioned, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.†Matthew 28:19-20

Are you talking and sharing about the love and power of your Lord to people that you see all the time? Share with others about an answer to one of your prayers. People you know are watching and listening to you more than you know. When your friends or co-workers have problems, say with confidence, “I know the Lord has the answer to your problems. I will be praying for you.â€

One of the leaders in my Life Group at my church was a woman principal who shared recently that if she asked anyone at her school, students or parents, and they were facing difficulty, if she could pray for them, they always agreed. That was my own personal experience when I worked as the administrator at a large cardiology medical practice, and one of the staff would come in to ask for time off or leave early because a child was sick. I would ask immediately, “Would you like me to pray for them?†Then I said a short prayer. Often the person would come back the next day and thank me. Ask the Lord to increase your love for others and a boldness to pray for them.

Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. James 5:13-16

You may be able to share the love of Jesus to people you meet who are hurting, depressed or who have a troubled marriage or people who have a variety of problems. You can make a difference by you caring and praying for them silently or telling them you will pray for them. Never doubt the power of prayer touching lives which can be transformed into becoming a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ.

This Sunday let us praise and thank our Lord that He is working in your spouse’s life and in other prodigal spouses’ lives around the world and that they will repent and be saved this very day!

Heavenly Father, You have many hurting men and women who need a special touch from You today. Lord, I pray that You will reveal Your presence to this dear stander so that they know they are on the right path following their Lord Jesus Christ on the road to marriage restoration. Lord, heal and resurrect hurting and dead marriages around the world right now. We thank You that nothing is impossible with You. We are all praying in agreement for a mighty harvest of souls being transformed this Lord’s Day. We praise You that You are leaving the ninety-nine and going after Your lost sheep and You are calling them by their name. We praise Your holy Name knowing You are faithful in accomplishing Your will and way in all things. We pray this all in the mighty Name of Jesus. Amen.
God bless,
