Do prayers have an expiration date?

At the supermarket, we see expiration dates for items.Same on coupons. But I notice something happening with my prayer requests that looks similar. If I go in prayer about something many times in time God does solve the problem--but then, thinking the solution to that specific problem is done, I don't keep in prayer about it after that. But then a while later, the problem comes back. The Bible says to continue praying, but I though that meant in general, I thought once you pray for a SPECIFIC problem, when you see in leave, it's over with.So it makes me wonder if your prayer{for that specific thing}"expires" after a certain amount of time?I thought God can permanently solve the problem. What's up?

Jesus never ever told us that prayer has expiration date. He constatly said. Pray without ceasing. He must have said that for a reason. If we get away from the Lord and do not attend church anymore, then, the devil will take over our life and make our existence so miserable and empty. Prayer reduces the influence of our self will and invites the Holy Spirit to work in us. Jesus prayed anywhere He went and prayed in solitary places. The disciples always wondered. Who is He talking when He prayed?

I like this: Prayer reduces the influence of our self will...It inspires me to go immediately to pray. Tell me do you have some specifique way to pray to reduce your self will? Maybe it will help me to...

God is the best listener you will ever find on earth. You do not have to shout or cry out loud enough to wake up all your nextdoor neighbors. He hears even the silent prayer of a sincere heart who comes before His holy presence in awe, with a grateful heart and with love to Him. Pierce my heart o Lord, to love You more, to praise You more, to adore Your holy name. Without You we are nothing. Without You our life is empty and lost. That our soul will ever languish and melt in You alone. Be Thou my vision o Lord of my heart. Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art. Thou my best thought by day or by night. Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light.

I don't think it has an expiration date and we are to pray without ceasing. I have been in a season I literally have been praying for years and still don't have an answer.

It seems{in my case} some problems God straightens out, but others, immediately after praying, or having others pray for me, there's confirmation that the problem is still there.

No, while I started prayer for her, I believed that God will heal her in His time, in His own way, she might not be healed but I trusted that He would give me solution so I waited patiently, it's kind of enjoyment in the Lord during trial period.. I rejoice not on my problems but in the Lord, who hears us.

My mother prayed for me day and night to heal me from cancer. Jesus heard her prayer and after a surgery, Jesus started to heal me and now I am praising and glorifying His holy name. Jesus answers prayers. Sooner or later, His answer will come. Just trust, believe and wait for Him.
