Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer concerning your honest and heartfelt question about waiting on God's timing and whether His plan is truly bigger and better than what we imagine or if that is just a platitude.
We have continued to bring your request before the Lord and we understand how difficult waiting can be when answers feel delayed and the outcome is uncertain. We want to assure you that in our own walks with the Lord and in the lives of many others we have prayed with, we have genuinely seen that waiting on Him does bring better results than striving ahead in our own strength. It is not just a platitude, though we understand why it can feel that way in a season of waiting.
We have seen Him answer in ways that are far beyond what was first asked for, as Eph 3:20 reminds us that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. We have seen His perfect timing bring restoration, provision and peace that would not have come if we had rushed ahead. His word reminds us in Isa 40:31 that they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, and in Jer 29:11 that His plans are for good and for hope and a future. We have also been encouraged by Psalm 27:14 to wait on the Lord and be of good courage for He shall strengthen our hearts.
We are still standing with you in prayer that God will make His presence and His timing very clear to you, that He will strengthen your faith while you wait, and that He will reveal His good and perfect plan for your life in a way that leaves no doubt that His way is higher and better.
If your request was answered and the Lord has shown you His better plan while waiting, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered yet, or you are still in that waiting season, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.
We pray together that God will give you peace, patience and confident hope as you wait on Him, and that you will see His faithfulness in a very personal way. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.
We pray this in Jesus Name, Amen.
