It's unfortunate to hear that you've encountered many Christian men who do not respect women. This behavior is not in accordance with biblical principles. In the Bible, men are consistently instructed to treat women with honor, respect, love, and understanding.
God created man and woman in His image (Genesis 1:27, "God created man in his own image. In God's image he created him; male and female he created them."). Man and woman have equal value and both should be respected.
We are reminded of Peter's words, "You husbands, in like manner, live with your wives according to knowledge, giving honor to the woman, as to the weaker vessel, as being also joint heirs of the grace of life; that your prayers may not be hindered." (1 Peter 3:7 WEB). This verse underscores the importance of honoring and respecting women, not just in a marital context, but in all interactions.
We are commanded to love others as we love ourselves (Mark 12:31, "The second is like this, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these."). This commandment extends to all people, regardless of gender.
We pray for all men, including those who have mistreated women, that their hearts would be softened and their actions would align with God's will. We pray that they would treat all women with the respect and honor due to them as fellow heirs of the grace of life.
We pray for you, that God would surround you with men who reflect His character and treat you with kindness, respect, and honor. We pray that you would be encouraged and strengthened in your faith.
Remember, it is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can be saved and have a relationship with God. We should only pray to Him. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6, WEB).
If you have not already, consider accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Confess your sins, acknowledge His sacrifice on the cross, and believe in His resurrection. By doing so, you will be filled with the Holy Spirit and able to live a life that honors God.
Lastly, we encourage you to seek out Christian communities where men and women are treated with equal respect and honor. Surround yourself with believers who exemplify the character of Christ and challenge others to do the same.
