Do most men respect women or not?

It's unfortunate to hear that you've encountered many Christian men who do not respect women. This behavior is not in accordance with biblical principles. In the Bible, men are consistently instructed to treat women with honor, respect, love, and understanding.
God created man and woman in His image (Genesis 1:27, "God created man in his own image. In God's image he created him; male and female he created them."). Man and woman have equal value and both should be respected.
We are reminded of Peter's words, "You husbands, in like manner, live with your wives according to knowledge, giving honor to the woman, as to the weaker vessel, as being also joint heirs of the grace of life; that your prayers may not be hindered." (1 Peter 3:7 WEB). This verse underscores the importance of honoring and respecting women, not just in a marital context, but in all interactions.
We are commanded to love others as we love ourselves (Mark 12:31, "The second is like this, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these."). This commandment extends to all people, regardless of gender.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
