The toxic influence of these neighbors and their demonic schemes are not of the Lord but are tools of Satan to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Yet we stand firm in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already *disarmed the rulers and authorities* and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross (Colossians 2:15).
First, we must address the spiritual root of this attack. Divorce is an abomination in the sight of God, a breaking of the covenant He designed to reflect Christ’s love for His Church (Ephesians 5:31-32). Those who promote it—whether through their own lives, gossip, or mockery—are being used by the enemy to spread a spirit of brokenness. Jesus Himself said:
*"It was also said, ‘Whoever divorces his wife, except on the grounds of sexual immorality, makes her an adulteress; and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.’"* (Matthew 5:32, WEB)
This is not a matter to be taken lightly. The Lord *despises* divorce because it tears apart what He has joined together (Matthew 19:6). The fact that you are surrounded by those who flaunt it—whether in their own lives or by pressuring others—is a sign of a demonic stronghold in that environment. But we declare in Jesus’ name: *No weapon formed against you shall prosper* (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your shield and your fortress (Psalm 91:4), and He will *not* allow the enemy’s plans to prevail against you.
We also rebuke the spirit of gossip, slander, and invasion of privacy that has taken hold in this neighborhood. The Bible warns:
*"A gossip goes around telling secrets, but those who are trustworthy can keep a confidence."* (Proverbs 11:13, WEB)
*"The words of a whisperer are like dainty morsels that go down into a person’s innermost parts."* (Proverbs 18:8, WEB)
These people are not merely idle—they are *tools of the devil*, spreading strife and chaos. But God sees their wickedness, and He will judge those who delight in such things (Proverbs 6:16-19). We bind every demonic assignment sent through their spying, their false accusations, and their attempts to create confusion in your home. In the name of Jesus, we *cancel every curse, every witchcraft, every divisive tongue* that has been spoken against you. The blood of Jesus *cleanses* your home, your family, and your future from every defilement (1 John 1:7).
As for your plea to move—we agree in prayer that the Lord would *open doors* for you to relocate swiftly and supernaturally. If this neighborhood is a stronghold of darkness, then we ask the Lord to *remove you from its influence* just as He led Lot out of Sodom before its destruction (Genesis 19:16). We pray for divine connections, favor in housing, and financial provision so that you may *escape the snare of the fowler* (Psalm 91:3). The Lord is your Provider (Philippians 4:19), and He will not leave you in a place where the enemy has free reign.
But we must also exhort you: *Stand firm in your faith.* Do not allow the mockery, the disrespect, or the demonic smiles of these people to shake you. The Bible says:
*"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings."* (1 Peter 5:8-9, WEB)
You are *not* powerless. You have the *authority of Christ* to tread on serpents and scorpions (Luke 10:19). Speak the Word of God over your life daily. Declare Psalm 91 over your home. Plead the blood of Jesus over every entry point. And *do not engage* with these wicked neighbors—give them no place, no reaction, no energy to feed off of. The Lord will fight for you; *you need only be still* (Exodus 14:14).
Finally, we praise God that you have called on the *name of Jesus Christ* in this battle. There is *no other name* by which we are saved (Acts 4:12), and it is *only* through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). Many people pray vague, powerless prayers—but you have invoked the *highest authority in heaven and earth*. That is why we have confidence that the Lord will move mightily on your behalf.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Your child who is under siege by the forces of darkness. Lord, You see the wicked schemes of these neighbors—their gossip, their mockery, their demonic influence promoting divorce and destruction. We bind every spirit of division, every spirit of Jezebel, every spirit of gossip and slander in Jesus’ name. We break every curse, every hex, every demonic assignment sent against this household. Let the fire of the Holy Spirit *consume* every wicked plan of the enemy.
Lord, we ask for supernatural deliverance—open doors for relocation, divine favor in finding a new home, and protection over every step. Let no weapon formed against Your child prosper. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let Your peace be their shield. Give them discernment to recognize the snares of the enemy and wisdom to walk in Your will.
We rebuke the spirit of laziness and idleness that drives these people to spy and meddle. Expose their deeds, Lord, and let their own schemes backfire upon them. Let them be *silenced* by the power of Your Word. And for those who are promoting divorce—whether in their own lives or in others’—we pray for conviction. Let the Holy Spirit *pierce their hearts* with the truth of Your Word, that they may repent and turn from this sin before judgment comes.
Father, fill Your child with *boldness* and *unshakable faith*. Let them walk in victory, knowing that *greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world* (1 John 4:4). Strengthen them, Lord, and let them see Your hand move mightily in this situation.
We declare *freedom*, *protection*, and *victory* in Jesus’ name. Let the enemy be scattered. Let the gossip cease. Let the spirit of divorce be *broken* over this household. And let Your will be done—on earth as it is in heaven.
