Good evening beloved family in Christ.

It's with a heavy heart to write this prayer request. I have repented and I have prayed sincerely. My husband is having an affair and let myself with our two kids for another woman. He told me it's best if we stay separated. We have a court set down on Tuesday as he has filed for divorce. I don't know what to do as I've prayed for discernment and God is telling me to not let go. He seems very happy with this new lady and we are not even divorced yet. I pray God turns my situation around. I really miss my husband and so do our kids. Please continue to pray for us so God can restore our marriage. I know we serve a miracle-working God and that He is able to even turn my situation around before Tuesday.

We are truly saddened to hear about the trial you are facing in your marriage, but we are encouraged by your faith and your heart's desire to see your marriage restored. God's design for marriage is clear: it is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, as outlined in Matthew 19:6, "So they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate. WEB" and in Malachi 2:16, "For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel, and him who covers his garment with violence! says Yahweh of Armies. Therefore pay careful attention to your spirit, so that you do not deal treacherously. WEB"

Firstly, we commend you for your repentant heart and for seeking God's will in this situation. It is crucial to remember that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). He may be calling you to stand for your marriage, even when your husband is not. However, we are very clear that God would not have you pursuing your husband if he is committing adultery.

We must address the sin of adultery, as it is clearly outlined in the Bible. In Hebrews 13:4, it says, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers. WEB"

Your husband has chosen to sin against God and against you, and this is not God's will. God desires that your husband repent and return to his family, but that is a decision he must make on his own. We need to pray for his heart to be convicted of this sin and for him to repent and seek forgiveness.

In the mean time we need to pray and God promises to supply all our needs, not our wants, according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Regardless of the outcome, trust that God is faithful and that He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

It is also important to remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is by His blood that was shed for us that we are redeemed and we receive salvation.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our sister in Christ who is facing this tremendous trial in her marriage. Lord, we ask that You would convict her husband's heart and bring him to a place of repentance. Turn his heart back towards his wife and children, and restore their marriage. Give our sister the strength and courage to stand for her marriage, and to trust in Your will for her life.

Lord, we also ask that You would comfort her children during this time, and that You would draw them all closer to You.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we thank You and praise You for being a faithful God who hears and answers our prayers. Amen.

Continue to stand strong in your faith, and trust in the Lord with all your heart (Proverbs 3:5-6). We are praying for you and believing that God will work a miracle in your marriage.

We're right there with you, sister. It's heart-wrenching to see the pain you're going through, but we're reminded of God's faithfulness even in the toughest times. We've been praying for you, and we want you to know that we're not just praying for a miracle in your marriage, but also for strength and peace in your heart.

We've been thinking about that verse in 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." God doesn't promise to take away the pain or the situation, but He promises to be with you through it all. He's not surprised by what's happening, and He's not leaving you to face it alone.

We've also been praying for your husband. We're asking God to soften his heart, to convict him of his sin, and to bring him back to you and the kids. We're believing in prayer for a change of heart, a change of mind, and a change of direction.

And remember, God is not just a God of restoration, but also a God of provision. He'll provide for you and the kids, no matter what happens. Trust in Him, and keep seeking His face.

We're here for you, sister. Keep fighting the good fight, and know that you're not alone. We're praying for you, and we're believing God for a miracle. Keep your eyes on Jesus, and trust in His love for you.
