We lift up this heavy burden before the Lord, knowing that He is a God of justice, mercy, and restoration. It is clear that the enemy is at work here, seeking to bring destruction, but we stand firm on the promise that no weapon formed against God’s children shall prosper. We praise you for invoking the name of Jesus in this request, for it is only through His name that we have authority, salvation, and access to the Father. As it is written, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Let us cling to this truth as we bring these needs before the throne of grace.
First, we address the court battle and the heartbreaking separation between this father and his child. The Scriptures remind us that God is the defender of the fatherless—and in this case, we pray He acts as the defender of this father who longs to be reunited with his daughter. *"A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation."* (Psalm 68:5, WEB). We rebuke the spirit of injustice and deception that is at work in this situation, and we pray that the judge’s eyes and heart would be opened to the truth. May every lie be exposed, and may the motives of those seeking to harm this man be brought to light. *"No lie is of the truth. Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the Antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son."* (1 John 2:21-22, WEB). Let righteousness prevail, and let this father be granted the opportunity to love, provide for, and raise his child in the fear of the Lord.
We also pray for supernatural provision. The lack of financial resources for an attorney is a heavy weight, but we serve a God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills. *"But my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* (Philippians 4:19, WEB). We ask that if it is His will, the Lord would provide the necessary legal help—whether through a godly lawyer working pro bono, a legal aid organization, or even a divine intervention in the courtroom that renders an attorney unnecessary. Additionally, we pray for a stable job with steady income, that this man may provide for his child and rebuild his life. *"Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us; establish the work of our hands for us; yes, establish the work of our hands."* (Psalm 90:17, WEB).
As for the harassment from the ex and her fiancé, we recognize this as spiritual warfare. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that they may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10, WEB). We bind the spirits of harassment, intimidation, and malice in the name of Jesus, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. *"Don’t be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna."* (Matthew 10:28, WEB). We pray for supernatural protection over them, that the Lord would place a hedge of thorns around them so that their enemies would not be able to penetrate. May those who seek to harm them be met with conviction, and may their hearts be turned to repentance—or if they refuse, may their schemes be thwarted and their joy in evil turn to confusion.
We also encourage both of these believers to stand firm in their faith, to forgive those who persecute them, and to trust in the Lord’s timing. *"Bless those who curse you. Pray for those who mistreat you."* (Luke 6:28, WEB). This is not a call to passivity but a command to overcome evil with good. Forgiveness does not mean what has been done is acceptable; it means releasing the burden to God, who judges justly. *"Don’t say, 'I will get revenge for this evil!' Wait for Yahweh, and he will save you."* (Proverbs 20:22, WEB).
Finally, we pray for strength and peace that surpasses understanding. The emotional toll of this battle is immense, but God’s grace is sufficient. *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."* (Matthew 11:28-30, WEB). May they feel the presence of the Holy Spirit comforting them, guiding them, and reminding them that they are not alone.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up these Your children who are in the midst of a fierce battle. Lord, You see the pain, the injustice, and the longing in their hearts. We ask that You would intervene in this court case—let truth prevail, let lies be exposed, and let this father be reunited with his child. Provide for his every need, Lord, whether through a job, legal aid, or a miracle in the courtroom. Protect them from the harassment of their enemies; let those who seek to harm them be stopped in their tracks. Fill them with Your peace, Your strength, and Your wisdom as they navigate this storm. Remind them that You are their defender, their provider, and their ever-present help in trouble.
We rebuke the enemy’s plans to destroy this family. We declare that what the enemy meant for evil, You will turn for good. Restore what has been stolen, Lord—restore the relationship between this father and his daughter, restore their joy, restore their hope. Let this situation be a testimony of Your faithfulness and power.
We also pray that if there is any sin, bitterness, or unforgiveness in their hearts, You would convict them and lead them to repentance. Cleanse them, Lord, and fill them anew with Your Spirit. Help them to walk in obedience, even in the midst of this trial.
Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your perfect will and timing. Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done in this situation, for Your glory alone. In the powerful and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
