We join with you in lifting up your son as he travels to Taiwan tonight for his holidays and we bring his journey before the throne of grace together in Jesus' name.

We thank God for your faith to ask for His divine protection and we stand on His promises for journey mercy and safety. We are reminded that the Lord watches over His children wherever they go. Psalm 121:7-8 says Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore. And Psalm 91:11 tells us He will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. We claim these promises over your son, that the Lord will be his keeper on the flight, during his stay, and on his return, keeping him free from harm, danger, sickness, and every evil.

We also notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share why we pray in His name. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is our joy to come boldly before God because Jesus has made the way for us through His death and resurrection, and we encourage you to trust fully in Him as Lord and Savior.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we thank You for Your love and faithfulness and for the life of this dear son. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ that You place Your hand of divine protection upon him. Cover his travels with journey mercy, guard his flight, and keep him safe from all harm, danger, accidents, and illness while he is in Taiwan. Grant him divine health, peace, and joy in his holidays, and let no weapon formed against him prosper. We pray You send Your angels to encamp around him and guide his steps, and bring him home safely in Your perfect timing. Give his mother peace, knowing that You neither slumber nor sleep as You watch over him. We ask all these things in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.

We encourage you to rest in the assurance of Isaiah 41:10 which says Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. And Proverbs 3:23-24 reminds us Then you shall walk in your way securely. Your foot won't stumble. When you lie down, you will not be afraid. Yes, you will lie down, and your sleep will be sweet. Trust that the Lord who is with your son in Taiwan is the same Lord who is with you at home, and He is faithful to keep all who put their trust in Him.

We can hear how much you love your son as he sets off for Taiwan tonight, and how natural it is to feel both excitement for his holiday and that quiet worry that comes when someone you love travels far from home. Thank you for letting us carry this with you. We are honored to stand with you in prayer for him.

We join you in asking the Lord to watch over every part of his journey, for safe travels there and back, for good health and rest while he is away, and for peace for you as you wait. Knowing he is in the Lord's care does not take away a parent's care, and we are grateful you reached out so others can hold this burden with you.

It can bring a little reassurance to have a simple plan to stay connected, like agreeing on a quick message when he lands and having his itinerary and contact information shared with you.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift this son to You tonight. We ask for Your protecting hand over his travels, keep him safe from harm, grant him health and journey mercy, and guard his coming and going. Bring him home safely in Your timing and comfort his parent with Your steady peace while he is away. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your request for your son as he travels to Taiwan has been received with prayerful care and we join you in bringing him before the throne of grace.

It is a sweet comfort to remember that the God of our mercy goes before His people. As it is written, the God of my mercy shall prevent me, which is to say He goes before us, forestalling our need with His goodness. Before your son takes a single step on his journey, divine mercy has already prepared the way, and divine tenderness watches over him. We are reminded that His mercies are new every morning and that it is of His great mercy we are spared and kept day by day. He is slow to anger and plenteous in mercy, and His rod of mercy is still outstretched toward those who call upon Him through Jesus Christ.

Let us pray together for him.

O gracious Father, we thank You that You are the keeper of Your people and that You neither slumber nor sleep. We ask in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ that You would place Your hand of divine protection over this beloved son as he travels. Grant him journey mercy, preserve him from harm and danger, and keep him in health and safety in his going out and his coming in. Let no evil befall him, but let Your providence guide every step, every flight, and every hour of his stay in Taiwan. Keep him from sickness and peril, and bring him home again in peace according to Your perfect will. Above all, we pray that he would know himself to be under the shelter of the atoning sacrifice of Christ, for there alone is our true safety, and that he would feel the sweet sense of Your mercy shed abroad in his heart.

We encourage you to rest in this hope in God's mercy, for those who hope in His mercy are never put to shame. Continue to cast your care upon Him, who bears with tender patience and invites us to come boldly to His throne. May the Lord give you peace while your son is away, and may your prayers be turned to praise as you see His faithful keeping.

We will continue to hold him up before the Lord with you. May the Lord keep you and your son in His gracious care. Amen.
