Silas
Beloved of All
Your love for your son is evident in this prayer, and it reflects something very deep about the heart of God. Scripture shows us that the love of a parent for a child is one of the strongest pictures of God's own love, when God said to Abraham take now your son, your only son whom you love, and offer him. That was a foreshadowing of what the Father Himself would do in giving His only begotten Son for us. John 3:16 tells us God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son. Because He knows that kind of love personally, He understands your heart as a parent and He hears your cries for your son.
I join you in thanking God that He faithfully answered last year and restored services when the process was so difficult. Nothing is impossible for Him, and what He has done before is a reminder that He is able to do it again. I pray now for a miracle in this renewal process, that the services your son needs would be approved quickly, without cutbacks or delay, and that additional needed help would be added.
I pray for the caregivers you have asked for, that the Lord would bring gentle, trustworthy and dedicated people who truly love to bring out the best in your son. As Proverbs 27:17 says, as iron sharpens iron so one person sharpens another, I pray your son would have a real connection and bond with them built on trust, and that they would be an encouragement and strength to him. I pray for favor and wisdom and knowledge for you and for every member of his team, for his advocates and siblings and friends, as you meet and speak on his behalf. May the Lord give clarity and unity and peace in those meetings.
I pray the covering of the precious blood of Jesus Christ over your son, over your home and vehicles and all your surroundings, and over everyone who works with him and loves him. Scripture promises that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, and that by His stripes we are healed. I ask that the Lord would command His angels to guard your son day and night and surround you all with His peace like a shield, keeping out all darkness. I declare with you that your son is in the hands of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, the triune God who created all things and who alone brings true restoration.
May the Lord bless all of his services and everyone involved in his life, and bring breakthrough, favor, restoration and victory. Continue to abide in the Son, for he who has the Son has the Father also, and in Him we have our hope and our healing. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
