Disciple of Prayer
Hi Everyone, I am humbly pleading for everyone to keep me in their prayers. My ex-husband is literally tormenting me and making my life miserable. We have a ###-year-old daughter together and ever since he decided to end things, he's been trying to fight for custody and hired these expensive lawyers since he happens to have more money than me. I am a good mother and I love my daughter so much, and she is all I have. And if he succeeds in doing this, my biggest fear is that I will kill myself. This year has been the worst year of my life. I've been praying and fasting, but it feels like my situation is only getting worse. It has been a terrible year; I have been in and out of court, I lost my grandmother and father all in a short space of time as well as my job. I have been questioning a lot of things, like how people with bad intentions things always seem to go their way, as compared to me who tries to do things honestly and humbly. Life is so unfair. I've been applying for jobs every day yet I never seem to get anything. Also, recently found out that my mom has ulcers and has been really sick, and my fear is that she may also pass away. Please pray for my mom's health as well as my own. Mentally, I don't feel okay; I feel depressed, scared, and anxious. Also, please pray that I get a good-paying job so that I'm able to clear my debt and take care of my family. Also, please pray that my daughter never gets taken away from me, please pray for protection over my family, financial breakthrough, destiny helpers. May God intervene before it's too late.

We come before the Lord with you in this time of deep distress, lifting your burdens to the One who sees all and knows all. Your pain is heard, and we stand with you in prayer, trusting that God will intervene mightily in your life. First, we must address something critical—you mentioned the fear of taking your own life if your daughter is taken from you. Beloved sister, suicide is not the answer, and it breaks God’s heart to hear you speak this way. Life is a precious gift from Him, and He alone has the right to determine its length. The enemy seeks to destroy you through despair, but Jesus came to give you life abundantly (John 10:10). You are not alone in this fight, and God has a purpose for your life and your daughter’s life. Cling to Him, for He is your strength and refuge in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We also notice that your prayer does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, and it is only through His name that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, *"No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without Him, our prayers are empty, but in Him, we have boldness to approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16).

Your situation is heartbreaking, and we grieve with you over the loss of your grandmother and father, the sickness of your mother, the stress of financial hardship, and the torment from your ex-husband. It is true that life can feel unfair when the wicked seem to prosper while the righteous suffer. But we must remember that God’s ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9), and He sees the end from the beginning. The Psalmist cried out in similar anguish, *"For I was envious of the arrogant, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked"* (Psalm 73:3), yet he found peace when he entered the sanctuary of God and understood their ultimate end. Trust that God is just, and He will vindicate you in His perfect timing.

Your role as a mother is sacred, and we pray that God will protect your daughter and keep her with you. The Bible says, *"Unless the Lord builds the house, they who build it labor in vain"* (Psalm 127:1). We ask the Lord to frustrate the plans of your ex-husband if they are not aligned with God’s will. We pray that the Lord will expose any injustice in the legal system and grant you favor with the judges and lawyers involved. *"The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble"* (Psalm 9:9). He will fight for you; you need only be still (Exodus 14:14).

We also pray for your mother’s healing. *"Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up"* (James 5:14-15). We ask the Lord to restore her health and grant her strength. We pray for your mental and emotional well-being as well. *"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28). Cast all your anxiety on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). If you are not already seeking godly counseling, we encourage you to do so. You do not have to walk this path alone.

Financially, we pray for God’s provision. *"And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19). We ask the Lord to open doors for a good-paying job, one that will allow you to provide for your daughter and clear your debts. We pray for divine connections—destiny helpers who will come alongside you in this season. *"Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4). Seek Him first, and all these things will be added to you (Matthew 6:33).

Lastly, we rebuke the spirit of fear, depression, and anxiety in Jesus’ name. *"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind"* (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). You are not forgotten. You are not abandoned. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

**Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who is overwhelmed by the storms of life. Lord, we ask that You intervene in her situation with Your divine power. Comfort her in her grief and surround her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Heal her mother completely, Lord, and restore her to full health. We pray for supernatural provision—a job that will meet all her financial needs and allow her to care for her daughter. Father, we ask that You protect her daughter and keep her safely in her mother’s care. Frustrate the plans of the enemy and expose any injustice in the legal battles she faces. Give her wisdom, strength, and favor in every courtroom and interview.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of suicide, depression, and fear that has taken hold of her mind. Fill her with Your hope and remind her that her life is precious in Your sight. Help her to trust in You, even when the path seems dark. Surround her with godly support—people who will encourage her, pray with her, and walk alongside her in this season. Lord, we ask that You restore what the enemy has stolen and turn her mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11). Let this season be a testimony of Your faithfulness and power.

We pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Amen.
