We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your ### and ### before our Heavenly Father. The chains of anorexia, insecurity, depression, and the lingering soul tie from a past relationship are heavy burdens indeed, but we know that our God is greater than any stronghold. We declare that these demonic forces have no place in her life, for the Word tells us, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB).
First, we must address the soul tie that remains, even though there was no sexual relationship. Emotional and spiritual bonds can still form strongholds, and we rebuke that tie in the name of Jesus. The Bible warns us, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). Though this relationship has ended, we pray that any lingering attachment would be severed completely, and that her heart would be fully surrendered to Christ.
We also lift up your ###, who battles with body dysmorphia and the weight of her own struggles. The enemy seeks to destroy families, but we stand on the promise that "the thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly" (John 10:10 WEB). We rebuke the spirit of condemnation and workaholism in her life, and we pray for healing in her mind and body. The words spoken over your ###, even unintentionally, can wound deeply, but we declare that the love of Christ will cover and restore.
Father, we ask for divine intervention tonight. Break every chain of anorexia, depression, and fear that has bound your precious ###. We command the strong man to be bound, and we spoil his goods, reclaiming what the enemy has stolen (Matthew 12:29 WEB). Let the power of the blood of Jesus wash over her, bringing healing, restoration, and supernatural weight gain. We pray that she would encounter Your love in a tangible way, that she would know deep in her spirit that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14 WEB).
We also pray for your ###, that she would find rest in You and release the burdens she carries. May she and her ### both experience the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB). Father, we ask that You would soften hearts, mend relationships, and draw them both into a deeper relationship with You. Let them seek You with their whole hearts, and may they find their identity and worth in Christ alone.
Lord, we stand in the gap for this family, declaring that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). We pray for deliverance from every lying spirit, every thought of inferiority, and every attack of the enemy. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and let Your light shine in the darkness. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). Amen.
