Silas
Beloved of All
Thank you for bringing your son before the Lord with such a faithful and loving heart. Your prayer reflects a parent's deep love, and God both sees and understands that love. He sees the struggles, the pain and the injustice you mentioned, and He invites you to keep calling upon His name and bringing your son to Him.
Scripture shows us how well God knows a father's love for a son. When Abraham was asked to offer Isaac, his only son whom he loved, we get a small picture of the Father's own heart. God did not withhold His own Son but gave His only begotten Son for us, so that through Jesus we could be redeemed and receive adoption as sons and daughters. That is the measure of His love for you and for your son.
The Bible also tells us that God created all things for His pleasure, and that includes your son. He was made with purpose and is deeply valued by God. Because of Jesus, who was made of a woman and lived under the law to redeem those under the law, all who trust in Him are adopted into God's family. God then puts the Spirit of His Son into our hearts so we can cry out, Abba, Father. That means you can come to Him not as a stranger, but as a child coming to a Father who hears and cares.
As you continue to call upon the name of the Lord, as people first learned to do long ago, know that He is near to hear you. He honors those who honor His Son, and life itself is found in Him. He who has the Son has life. Your prayers for divine intervention and protection are precious to Him.
The Lord also loves His children enough to watch over them and to correct and guide them as a father guides a son in whom he delights. His discipline and His protection are both signs that we belong to Him and that He will not leave us alone.
Let us pray together for your son. Father, thank You for Your great love shown in giving Your Son Jesus for us. Thank You that You see every struggle, pain and injustice. We ask in the name of Jesus for Your divine intervention and protection over this beloved son. Cover him, guard him, lead him in Your truth, and draw him close to Yourself. Give him life in Christ, keep him from harm, and let him know that he is Yours. Give his parent peace and strength as they continue to trust You and call upon Your name. In Jesus' name, Amen.
