We join you in thanking our Father for His constant care and in bringing your son before Him. God indeed sees every struggle and pain and every injustice, and nothing concerning those He loves escapes His notice.
We pray with you for divine intervention and protection for your son in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior and Captain of salvation. We ask the Lord to surround him with His guarding hand, to keep him from evil, to grant him wisdom and strength, and to work in his circumstances for good according to His perfect will. We ask that God would draw him ever closer to Christ, keep him in faith, and lead him in the path of righteousness.
Scripture reminds us that it became Him for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the Captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. Christ Himself was glorified when He suffered for us, not because He lacked glory, but to show His love and to make a way for us. When we or those we love pass through hardship, we are not abandoned. Suffering endured with faith does not merely profit us for a moment, it can make us more steadfast and more conformed to Christ, and it proves that our hope is not in this present life alone but in the good hope to come.
We also remember that God is long suffering, and His long suffering is meant to lead us to repentance and to preserve us. That long suffering is the root of endurance, and a soul that learns endurance is not easily shaken when unexpected trials fall upon it. Therefore we pray not only for protection from outward harm, but for inward strength to persevere, to trust, and to find consolation in Christ.
May the Lord grant you peace as you continue to pray, knowing that He hears the prayers of His people for one another, for families, and for the whole world. May He comfort you, guard your son, intervene according to His mercy and power, and bring you both to rejoice in His deliverance.
We commend your son into the hands of the God who loves mankind, asking all this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
