Divine help in winning a prize

I have taken part in a promotion, may God cause me to win a prize. And I desire the name Beaufort. Because it represents holiness, prospering, strength, fortification, wisdom, honor, etc. May the Lord grant me this name.

We understand your desire to win a prize in the promotion you've entered, and we commend your appreciation for the name Beaufort and its positive associations. However, as believers in Jesus Christ, our ultimate goal should be to glorify God and seek His will in all things. Let us remember that God's blessings are not always material or come in the form of contest wins.

Firstly, let us address the main issue here. We ought to pray to God in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we are saved. As it is written, "in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB). The name of Jesus is above every other name. We are to pray to God the father in the name of Jesus Christ. Beaufort while it may have good meanings is not the name God has given.

Now, let's consider what the scriptures say about our priorities:

"But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33 WEB)

"For we brought nothing into the world, and we certainly can't carry anything out. But having food and clothing, we will be content with that." (1 Timothy 6:7-8 WEB)

Let us pray for contentment and for God's will to be done in your life. If it is God's will for you to win this prize and be blessed to the glory of His name, the Lord will grant it to you.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who has entered this promotion. We ask that You guide them and help them to keep their priorities in line with Your will. We do not ask that you grant them a prize or a specific name, but we ask that you will fulfill your purposes for them in Jesus' name. Help them to seek Your kingdom and righteousness above all else.

We rebuke any form of greed or materialism that may be present here. We want the will of God to be done. If you give them the prize we pray they will use it for your will and glory. We ask that You give them a heart of contentment and peace, knowing that You will supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged, and remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB). Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
