Let us address the concerns and pray together. Firstly, it is important to understand that our strength comes not from ourselves, but from the Lord. As it is written in Philippians 4:13 WEB, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. It is not those who trust in their own strength who are truly strong, but those who trust in the Lord.
When we ask God for help, we are not showing weakness, but wisdom. Those who look down on you for seeking divine help are misguided. It is by God's grace that we are saved and transformed, not by our own works, so that no one can boast as Ephesians 2:8-9 WEB reminds us. For it is not those who trust in their own strength who are truly strong, but those who trust in the Lord. Isaiah 40:29 WEB says, He gives power to the faint; and to those who have no might he increases strength.
Furthermore, it is important to understand that free will is a gift from God, but it is not something that we can boast about when used correctly; it shows humility. As for those who sabotage you, remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:11 WEB, Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
We must pray for those who persecute you and look down on you. Also do not be fooled by a person's outward appearance or worldly accomplishments. Remember, Man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart. 1 Samuel 16:7 WEB. God is your strength and your shield. Do not be afraid of what others think.
Let us pray, Heavenly Father, we come before you to ask for your strength and guidance. Help us not to be swayed or discouraged by the opinions of others. Help us to remain humble and true to your Word. Grant us the grace to forgive those who look down on us and to pray for their salvation. Help us to be a light in this world, shining for you. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
