Divine guidance

Kensem

Beloved of All
“When people do not accept divine guidance, they run wild. But whoever obeys the law is joyful.”
Proverbs 29:18

Please pray in Jesus name that the former landlord submits to God and accepts divine guidance. He and the people around him have been really wild and disrespectful, and they have caused a lot of trouble.

We join with you in seeking God's will together in Jesus' name and we thank you for bringing this burden before the Lord. We hear how difficult this situation with your former landlord has been and how his wild and disrespectful behavior along with those around him has caused you much trouble. It grieves us when people reject the Lord's instruction and choose their own way, and your reference to Proverbs 29:18 reminds us of this truth, Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint, but one who keeps the law is blessed.

We agree that divine guidance is what every heart needs, and we pray that the Lord will soften this man's heart and draw him to submit himself to God. The Scripture teaches us that The king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires Proverbs 21:1, and we trust that God is able to turn even a stubborn and unruly heart toward repentance and reverence for Him. We rebuke the wildness and disrespect you have described, for it does not reflect the order and love that God calls us to, and we pray that the Lord would convict all involved of any wrongdoing and lead them to walk in obedience, humility, and respect for others.

We lift this former landlord and those around him before the Father and ask that He would grant them wisdom and a desire for His truth, for If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. We pray that they would come to accept divine guidance, obey God's law, and find the joy and restraint that comes from walking with Him rather than running wild.

We also pray for you, that the Lord will guard your heart with peace and protect you from further trouble. We encourage you to continue to seek divine guidance for yourself daily and to respond as Christ calls us to, even toward those who have caused hurt, for Jesus said, Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you Matthew 5:44. As you do so, remember the encouragement, If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men Romans 12:18. We trust God to be your defender and to bring order where there has been chaos.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You together and ask for Your divine guidance to fall upon this former landlord and his circle. Soften their hearts, turn them from wild and disrespectful ways, and lead them to submit to You and to Your law. Bring conviction where it is needed, bring peace where there has been trouble, and let Your will be done in this situation. We ask that You comfort and strengthen the one who has been troubled, fill them with Your peace and joy as they continue to obey You, and let Your justice and mercy be seen. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

We hear how wearing it is to deal with ongoing disrespect and trouble from your former landlord and those around him. It makes sense you would long for him to turn toward God and for peace to return to that part of your life.

We join you in praying for that, asking God to work in his heart and to guard your own peace while you wait. When conflict stays heated it is hard to think clearly and easy to get pulled into another exchange that only makes things worse. One thing that has helped others in similar community tensions is to step back and create a little structure around it. Keeping a simple written record of what happened and when, staying respectful and brief in any necessary contact, and leaning on a trusted pastor, mature believer or even a neutral mediator if further issues arise can keep things from escalating and protect your well being.

We also pray for you to have wisdom to know when to engage and when to simply entrust the situation to the Lord and move forward.

Father in Jesus' name we lift this landlord to You and ask You to draw him to Yourself and guide him toward what is right and respectful. We ask You to cover our friend with Your peace, give clear wisdom for next steps, and bring quiet where there has been turmoil. Amen.

Your request has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the Lord, who alone is able to give true guidance and joy. The word you quoted is faithful and true, when people do not accept divine guidance they run wild, but whoever obeys the law is joyful. Proverbs 29:18 shows us the misery of a heart that refuses the light and the blessedness of a heart that submits to it.

God is light and in Him is no darkness at all, and consequently He cannot have fellowship with darkness. He never misrepresents nor has fellowship with misrepresentation, but deals with things in the light, treating them as they are. If any man is to walk with God at all it must be in the light, and there he will see his sin and daily feel the need of the blood of Jesus Christ to cleanse him therefrom. A wild and disrespectful course is not to be excused or blessed, but to be repented of, and sincerity is indispensable to mercy, for there must be a laying aside of all insincerity and a dealing with God in truth before the gracious God can put away iniquity.

We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is salvation in no other, that the Lord would graciously work in the heart of your former landlord and in those around him. We ask that God would convict him of his need, bring him to stand in the light as he is, to confess his sin without covering, and to submit himself to the divine guidance he has rejected. We pray that He who is the great Landlord of all would call this tenant to set his house in order, to pay his rent in humble obedience, and to desire to restore to his Maker a life unhurt by rebellion and marked by service. May the Lord turn wildness to meekness, disrespect to reverence, and trouble making to peace making through repentance and faith in Christ.

We pray also for you, that the Lord would keep you in perfect peace as you walk in obedience, that you would know the joy promised to those who keep His law, and that you would be guarded from bitterness and fear. May you be kept in the light, daily cleansed by the blood of Jesus, and comforted by the knowledge that God remains and God appears even when days have darkened. May He heal what has been wounded and give you wisdom to walk softly and faithfully before Him until He calls you home.

Father, we ask these things not to affirm any darkness, but to ask for light to overcome it. Bring this man to Yourself, subdue his heart, teach him Your ways, and let Your will be done in his life and in this situation. We ask in the worthy name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the Lord. You have quoted truly that where there is no divine guidance the people run wild, but joyful is the one who obeys the law.

We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have salvation and peace with God, that your former landlord would submit himself to God and accept His divine guidance. We ask the Father to soften his heart, to turn him from wild and disrespectful ways, and to lead him to repentance, so that he may walk in obedience and know the joy that comes from keeping God's ways. We pray also for those around him who have caused trouble, that the Lord would bring conviction and order where there has been disturbance.

We also pray for you, that God would guard you with His peace. Scripture teaches us to follow peace with all men and to pursue holiness, and that the peacemakers shall be called sons of God. God is not a God of war and fighting, and He calls us to be at peace even when others war against us. The more another wars against us, the greater is the reward for remaining peaceful and entrusting justice to Him. Do not be drawn into conflict, but wait upon the Lord and keep your heart at rest in Him.

May the Lord cause this strife to cease, protect you from further trouble, and grant you wisdom and quietness of heart. May He help you to despise the things that stir up conflict and to keep your treasure above, where no one can steal it. We ask that He would make you strong in His peace, which is unlike the peace of this world, and that you would continue in joyful obedience.

We pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
