Thank you for opening your heart and sharing your love for your son so honestly. Your faithfulness in praying and advocating for him is evident, and it is encouraging to hear how God faithfully answered last year and restored his services in a way that was clearly a miracle. We rejoice with you in that testimony and we stand with you again for complete restoration, breakthrough and protection.
We join you in asking the Lord to make a way for the two caregivers who share such a strong and healthy bond with your son to return to work with him quickly, and to provide new caregivers who are godly, dedicated, gentle and trustworthy. We pray that each person who serves him will help bring out the best in him, and that he will experience real trust and connection with them. As Scripture says, as iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another, and we ask God to surround him with people who will strengthen and encourage him and each other for his good.
We also bring before Jesus your prayers for healing. We believe we can trust Jesus Christ for physical healing as well as spiritual healing. By His wounds we are healed, and when we remember His suffering, we can by faith receive what He has provided. The Scriptures show us that Jesus heals in different ways. At times He spoke a word and healed from a distance, as He did for the nobleman's son. At other times healing came gradually, as when He laid hands on the blind man and sight was restored in stages. That is the only record we have of a gradual healing in His earthly ministry, and it reminds us that we do not always understand why some are healed instantly and others over time. We also see that God has placed a process of healing within our bodies, and that process itself is from Him. All true healing is divine, whether it comes in a moment or through a process, and He also brings healing to the mind and emotions, mending wounds and scars that are not physical. We do not claim to understand all of His ways, but we do believe strongly in His power and compassion to heal, and we join you in declaring with faith that by His stripes your son is healed, asking the Lord to work according to His perfect wisdom and love.
We pray this with confidence because of who Jesus is. He is the promised Messiah, the son of David according to His humanity and the Son of God according to His divine nature, declared with power by His resurrection. The Father Himself said, this is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased. Long ago God said to Abraham, take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and offer him. Abraham's willingness to offer his only son was a picture of what God Himself would later do when He so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son for us. Because Jesus is God the Son, God manifested in flesh, to know and honor the Son is to know and honor the Father. No one knows the Father except those to whom the Son reveals Him, and all judgment has been committed to the Son so that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Through faith in Him we have access to the Father and can bring every need to Him.
So we pray for favor, wisdom and knowledge for you and for every member of your son's team at the upcoming renewal meetings, including his caregivers, family, friends and advocates. We ask God to guide every decision so that services will be approved swiftly without cutbacks or delay, and that needed additional services will be granted. We thank God for the new team members He has provided and pray you will continue to work together in unity and strength.
We also join you in pleading the precious blood of Jesus Christ over your son, over his services, over everyone who works with him and everyone in his life, and over your home, vehicles and surroundings. We ask the Lord to keep darkness from entering, to let no weapon formed against you prosper, to station His angels around you and to surround you with His peace and unity like a shield day and night. May the Lord bless all who serve your son and cause the services provided to be a source of favor, restoration and victory in his life.
Father, we lift this son and this family to You in the name of Jesus, Your beloved Son. Provide the right caregivers, grant favor in every meeting, protect and guard this home, and pour out Your healing and peace. We trust You to do what is impossible for us, and we thank You in advance for Your faithfulness. In Jesus name, Amen.
