Jesus-the Shepherd
Jesus as your Shepherd tenderly cares for your every need and carries you close to His heart.
We rejoice with you that one of your son's trusted caregivers was able to come today and we understand how much that bond means to him and to you. After last year's difficult renewal process, it makes sense that these upcoming meetings feel heavy, even as you have seen God restore services before.

We are standing with you for his care team, for quick and fair decisions on his services without delay, and for God to provide additional caregivers who are gentle, dependable and truly invested in bringing out his best. Your love and steady advocacy for him matters deeply.

One thing that has helped other families navigating renewals is to keep a simple record to bring to each meeting, a brief note of what is working well, where he needs more support, and any availability changes with caregivers, and to share it consistently with everyone on his team so you are speaking together. Staying connected with his team and others who understand the system can also lighten the load you carry alone.

Father, we thank You for this son You have entrusted to this family. We ask for Your peace over their home today, for wisdom and unity for everyone advocating for him, for protection over him and those who care for him, and for Your provision for each need in the days ahead. Guide the renewal process according to Your will and sustain this family with Your presence. In Jesus' name, amen.

We rejoice with you and thank God with you for His faithfulness in answering prayer and bringing back one of those beloved caregivers today to be with your son. We see the Lord's hand in that swift provision and we join you in giving Him all the glory, for He is faithful to complete what He has begun. As you have seen last year when He miraculously restored all of your son's services, we are reminded that nothing is too hard for Him, for Jeremiah 32:27 says Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me.

We stand with you in prayer for the second caregiver who shares such a great bond with your son, that the Lord would open every door swiftly for his return as well, and that He would anoint and send new godly caregivers in His perfect timing. We pray for men and women who are dedicated, gentle, trustworthy, and who have a true heart to bring out the best in your son, that he would trust them and share a special bond with each one. We love the verse you shared, Proverbs 27:17 Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens his friend's countenance, and we pray that each caregiver would be such a sharpening, encouraging presence in his life, building him up in love and patience.

We also lift up the upcoming renewal meetings for his services before the throne of grace. We ask for divine favor, wisdom and knowledge to rest upon you, your son's team, his caregivers, siblings, friends and every advocate who speaks on his behalf. James 1:5 promises But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. We pray that every decision maker would have eyes to see his true needs and that there would be no cutbacks or delays, but complete restoration and even additional much needed services according to God's abundant provision. We thank God for the new team member you mentioned and pray you will continue to be a strong, unified team centered on Christ.

We agree with you as you plead the precious blood of Jesus Christ over your son, his caregivers, his home, vehicles and all his surroundings, and we declare the promise of Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against you will prevail. We pray Psalm 91:11 over him, For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways, and we ask for the peace of God which surpasses all understanding to guard your hearts and your home, Philippians 4:6-7.

We pray together now in the mighty name of Jesus.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, thanking You for Your mercy and for hearing our prayers. We thank You for this mother's faithful love for her son and for the miracle You are already doing today. Lord, we ask You to bless the day together for our dear son and his caregiver, let it be filled with joy, peace, trust and gentle connection. Bring back the second caregiver swiftly and provide more availability, and anoint new godly caregivers who will love him, be faithful to him, and help him flourish for Your glory. Grant favor and breakthrough at every renewal meeting, let no weapon formed against his services prosper, and let every needed service be approved quickly and fully restored. Anoint this mother and every member of the team with wisdom, unity and strength as they advocate for him. Surround them with Your angels, cover them with the blood of Jesus, and let Your healing power rest upon this precious son, for Isaiah 53:5 says by his wounds we are healed. We declare Your protection, Your peace like a shield, and Your victory over his life. We trust You to do miracles, restoration and breakthrough again, for nothing is impossible with You. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.

We were moved reading your heart for your son and how much you value the caregivers who know and love him well. It is a gift when that trust and bond is there, and we join you in thanking God that one of them was able to be with him today. We can hear how much you are carrying as you look toward the renewal meetings and wait on approvals.

As you prepare to advocate for him, something that often helps is going in with a clear, simple picture of his daily life. We have found it steadies both parents and decision makers to have a short written summary of what is working, where he still needs support, and a few brief examples from caregivers and family who see him most. Bringing that team voice together, and keeping communication kind and consistent with those who review the services, can make your advocacy both strong and gracious.

We are praying with you for wisdom for everyone at the table, for the right caregivers to be provided at the right time, and for peace over your home and your son's days.

Father, we bring this family to You. Cover this son with Your protection and peace, guide every meeting and decision about his services, and provide faithful caregivers who will draw out his best. Give his mother strength and clarity as she advocates for him. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.

Your prayer has been heard and we join with you in bringing it before the throne of grace with thanksgiving. We rejoice with you that the Lord has answered in part, in bringing one of these caregivers back to your son today, and we pray that their day together may be marked by gentleness, trust and true affection, for as you have well quoted, as iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.

We are reminded of that precious truth, The God of my mercy shall prevent me. If God is the God of your mercy, then He stands in a particular relationship to your mercy and binds Himself to secure it to you. He goes before you. March on, child of God, for God goes before you, and His angels fly around you. You have asked that angels might guard your son, your home and all your surroundings, and we pray that you may indeed know the rustling of their wings by faith, for the Eternal God is your refuge, whether under the yoke or in the wilderness where needs press you down, whether those needs are temporal or spiritual.

We bring before the Lord your petitions for favor and wisdom in the upcoming renewal meetings, and for the swift approval of these services without cut backs or delay. We ask that the Lord, who has faithfully restored your son's services before as a complete miracle, would again show Himself strong on your behalf. We pray that He would anoint you, your son's team, his caregivers, siblings and friends with wisdom and knowledge to advocate well, for God would have His people not only do what is righteous but what is generous, and He opens His hand wide to supply sufficient for need.

We also join you in asking the Lord to raise up new godly caregivers, dedicated, gentle and trustworthy, who will love to bring out the best in your son and with whom he may have a special bond of trust. And we plead with you the precious blood of Jesus Christ over your son and over all who labor with him, that darkness cannot enter and no weapon formed against him shall prosper. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, not only in His great acts but in the least thing about Him, for the very leaves of Christ are healing and change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. By His stripes we are healed, and healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction and both bestowed upon the Lord's people.

We pray that the Lord would surround you all with His peace and unity like a shield, and that He would continue to make you and your son's team strong together for his good. May the Lord perfect His strength in your weakness and supply all your needs according to His riches. We commend your son to that glorious doctrine of the incarnation, that Christ has taken us by the hand to lift us up, for there is healing in that touch.

We will continue to pray that your new services will be to the glory of God and for the true good of your dear son, and that you may have cause to present some special sacrifice as a memorial of your gratitude when the Lord answers.

Father, we thank You for Your mercies already shown. We ask for complete restoration, for breakthrough and for protection. Cover this household, these caregivers and this child with the blood of Your Son, let no weapon prosper, and let Your favor rest upon every meeting and every decision. Grant healing, grant peace, and grant that all who serve this family may serve as unto You. In the name of Jesus Christ our only hope and healer, Amen.
