Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the former landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.

We join you in this prayer and we thank you for coming before the Father in the name of Jesus, for He alone is the way through which we have access to God. As you have so rightly prayed, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. We are encouraged that you have acknowledged the sacrifice of the cross and the blood of Jesus shed for sinners, for without that blood there is no forgiveness and no approach to the throne of grace.

We agree with you that lies are serious before the Lord. Scripture is very clear about this. Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight Proverbs 12:22, and we are commanded Therefore putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor Ephesians 4:25. We are also told Do not lie to one another Colossians 3:9. Jesus taught that lying has a spiritual source, that the devil is a liar and the father of lies John 8:44, and that to persist in dishonesty is to walk in darkness rather than in the light of Christ. You are right to see that in order to continue in dishonesty a person must harden their conscience and break down the resistance that God has placed within them through conscience and His law. We pray with you that God would rebuild that holy resistance and convict hearts.

We also rejoice that even through hardship you have been given grace to show patience and kindness to those who have wronged you, including the former landlord's team and their lawyers and legal representatives. This reflects the mercy of Christ in you, and we pray you will continue to love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you while still holding fast to truth and justice. God is both merciful and just, and He will not leave dishonesty unaddressed, yet He desires repentance rather than judgment.

We pray together now. Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus we lift up to you this situation and these people who have chosen dishonesty. Lord, you see every lie and every scheme and nothing is hidden from your sight. We ask that you would grant them repentance, that you would open their eyes to see that you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free John 8:32. Set them free from the bondage of deceit and teach them to love truth. Build up in them a holy resistance to lying and a desire to practice honesty in all their dealings. Convict them of sin and turn them from the path that leads to destruction, for all liars will have their part in judgment unless they repent Revelation 21:8. We ask for your protection and provision for those who have been harmed by these acts, that you would vindicate the truth in your perfect timing and bring justice with mercy. Give your children continued grace to walk in integrity, to surrender their will to you, and to trust that you fight for them and bless them with heavenly gifts. Strengthen them to forgive as they have been forgiven, yet not to compromise with evil, but to speak the truth in love. We dedicate this matter and our lives anew to you. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and in truth. Continue to commit your cause to the Lord who judges righteously, keep your own lips from deceit, and trust that the God of truth will in His time expose what is hidden and bring forth justice. As you have surrendered your will to Him, He will guide you and keep you in perfect peace.

We were grateful to read your prayer and the gracious spirit in it. Asking God to build honesty in the former landlord's team, their lawyers and representative, even after you have faced real hardship because of dishonesty, is not a small thing. It shows you want truth to prevail without holding onto bitterness.

It makes sense that this has been heavy. When lies have led to serious consequences, choosing patience and kindness can feel costly, and it is understandable if frustration or weariness still surfaces even as you have chosen that posture. Wanting to release resentment and to treat others as people still valued by God is different from saying what happened was acceptable or from having to rebuild a relationship. Both can be held honestly before the Lord over time.

A steady step that often helps in a situation like this is to keep walking in your own integrity while not carrying the weight alone. Continue to keep clear, factual records of what has happened, stay connected to wise and trusted counsel if legal matters are ongoing, and when the burden feels heavy bring it honestly to the Lord and to a trusted pastor or friend who can walk with you.

Father, we lift this whole situation to You in Jesus' name. Guard and sustain those praying here, give them peace and wisdom day by day, and work in the hearts of all involved so that truth is loved and chosen. We entrust each person and each outcome to Your care. Amen.

We join you in thanking our heavenly Father that Jesus is indeed the way, the truth and the life, and that through the sacrifice of the Cross and the shedding of His precious blood there is mercy for sinners. Your gratitude for His presence and for heavenly gifts is well pleasing to Him, and your desire to surrender your will to Him is the right ground upon which to meet God, for He meets us where truth is.

You have rightly felt the weight of dishonesty. Lies are not light things, and Scripture warns us that the truth must be in us if we are to walk in the light. As it has been said, we must buy the truth and sell it not, having truth in doctrine, truth in the heart, and truth in the life, for Christ Himself is the Truth, transparent and faithful in word and in deed. To break down resistance to dishonesty is to wander far from Him who rules His people by the truth of His doctrine and the truth of His life.

We commend the grace God has given you to show patience and kindness to the former landlord's team, to lawyers and legal representatives, even in hardship. This is the holy maxim to love your enemies and to do good to them that hate you, and when the believer is forgiving, honest and upright, observers are made to ask from where such excellence comes. Continue in that warfare for truth, not with bitterness, but with prayer.

We pray with you that the Lord will build up in those who have dealt falsely a renewed resistance to dishonesty and a love for honesty. We ask that He will open their eyes, as He alone can, to see the truth about themselves, for it is well when men are delivered from the dominion of falsehood, even though that truth may break them. May the Spirit of all grace grant them to come to honest dealing with God, confessing sin as it truly is, and to find that He will abundantly pardon through the bleeding Sacrifice. He is greater at forgiving than sinners dare to dream, and His silver scepter of pardon is the most majestic ensign of His royalty. The same truth that convicts is the truth that sets free when it is found in Christ.

We pray also for you, that you may be kept in that sincerity where the truth abides, remembering the truth of God just when you most need it, that fear of man may be taken away and faith strengthened even in the storm. May you know the comfort of forgiving grace, that having obtained mercy you may hasten to tell others of the riches of His grace in forgiving all trespasses.

We dedicate you and this whole matter to the Lord, asking that truth may prevail, that justice may be done without malice, and that all concerned may be brought to know Him who said, Your Word is Truth. May the Lord keep you steadfast, honest in all things, and resting wholly upon Christ.

We thank you for bringing this burden before the Lord and for the gracious spirit with which you pray even for those who have wronged you. Your desire that truth would prevail is pleasing to God, for Jesus himself is the way, the truth and the life, and it is the truth that sets us free.

We join you in thanking God for his presence, for fighting for you in hardship, and for the gift of the cross where the blood of Christ was shed for sinners. It is only through Jesus Christ alone that we have forgiveness and hope, and we rejoice that you have taken refuge there.

You have shown patience and kindness to the former landlord's team, to the lawyers and legal representative, even while suffering hardship. This is the fruit of a life lived in all godliness and honesty, the quiet and peaceable life that seeks good even for those who do wrong. Truth takes hold most easily in an honest soul, and when the soul is open and candid, the light of truth can master it as the sun enlightens clear eyes.

We agree with you in prayer that God would build in these people a firm resistance to dishonesty and a love for honesty. Lies are indeed serious, they corrupt the soul and bring great harm both now and before God, and those who practice them store up a heavier judgment unless they repent. Yet God is merciful and calls all to repentance. We pray that he would open their eyes to see that honesty is not a burden but freedom, and that they would turn from falsehood to speak truth, to act justly, and to make right what was done wrongly.

We also pray for you, that the Lord would strengthen you to continue in integrity, to guard your own heart from bitterness, and to rest in the hope laid up for you in heaven. Continue to surrender your will to him and to walk in all godliness and honesty, trusting that he sees, he judges justly, and he will bring what is hidden into light in his perfect time.

May the Lord keep you in his truth, grant you peace, and lead all involved to repentance and renewal through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
