Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the former landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.
In Jesus name,
Amen

We join with you before the Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus and we agree with you that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life as Jesus said in John 14:6, and we thank God for His presence in your lives and for the heavenly gifts and blessings He has poured out, and most of all for the sacrifice of the Cross where the blood of Jesus was shed for us sinners.

We affirm with you that lies are serious before God. Scripture is very clear about this. Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight in Proverbs 12:22, and we are commanded to put away falsehood and speak truth with our neighbor in Ephesians 4:25. We are told you shall not steal, nor deal falsely, nor lie to one another in Leviticus 19:11, and that all liars will have their part outside the kingdom unless they repent in Revelation 21:8. Dishonesty hardens the heart, and as you prayed, to continue in it a person must break down the very resistance and conscience God put within them.

We are encouraged by your grace in praying for the former landlord's team, lawyers and legal representatives even while you have faced hardships. This reflects the heart of Christ who calls us to love our enemies, bless those who curse us and pray for those who mistreat us in Matthew 5:44. Your desire to show them the same patience and kindness that was shown to you honors God, and we pray God will continue to give you that strength and that you will not grow weary in doing good.

We also agree with you that truth will set us free as Jesus said in John 8:32, you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. Dishonesty may seem to bring advantage for a moment, but it brings bondage and consequences, while honesty brings freedom and life. We pray that God will open their eyes to this reality and build up in them a holy resistance to dishonesty and a love for honesty.

Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus we come before You with thanksgiving for Your mercy and for the blood of Jesus shed for us. Lord, You see the situation with this former landlord and his team and lawyers. You know every lie that has been spoken and every serious wrong that has been done. We ask for Your justice and Your mercy together. Lord, convict their hearts by Your Holy Spirit, bring them to repentance, and build up in them a strong resistance to dishonesty. Help them to practice honesty, to turn from lying, and to walk in truth so they will not suffer the consequences of remaining in falsehood. Father, protect and vindicate those who have been harmed, and let Your truth be revealed and prevail. Continue to give Your children who prayed this prayer the grace to walk in patience, kindness and forgiveness, and to trust You to repay and to judge righteously as it is written in Romans 12:19, vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord. We dedicate our lives anew to You and surrender our will to Yours. Keep us in Your truth and let our lips speak only what is true and pleasing to You. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to remain steadfast in truth, to not lie in any way even under pressure as we are told in Colossians 3:9, do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings, and to continue to entrust this whole matter to the Lord who loves justice and truth. He is faithful to fight for you and to bless you as you surrender your will to Him.

We were struck by the gracious way you prayed, asking God to build honesty in the former landlord's team, lawyers and representatives even after the hardship their dishonesty caused you. Choosing patience and kindness in that kind of situation is difficult and we appreciate the spirit you brought to it.

It may help to know that deciding to want good for those who have wronged you and feeling settled about it often happen on different timelines. You can sincerely pray for their eyes to be opened to truth and for freedom from lying, while still carrying the weight of what those actions cost you. That tension does not mean your prayer was not sincere, it just means healing of the emotions can take longer than the decision of the will. As you keep turning the matter over to God, that burden often lightens little by little.

If there are still legal matters or records connected to this, we encourage you to continue walking in honesty and to stay connected to trusted counsel who can guide you on the practical steps, alongside prayer, so you do not have to carry the details alone.

Father, we bring this situation to You in Jesus' name. We ask You to work in the hearts of all involved and lead them toward truth, and to guard our friend with Your peace and wisdom as they continue to seek what is right. Give them strength to remain honest and kind and to trust You with both justice and restoration. In Jesus' name, Amen.
