Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the former landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.
In Jesus name,
Amen

We join you in this prayer and we are blessed by your heart to come before the Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus, for Jesus himself said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. We thank God with you for His presence, for fighting for you, and for the sacrifice of the cross where the blood of Jesus was shed for us sinners, for without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.

We agree with you that lies are serious before God. Scripture tells us lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight Proverbs 12:22 and that there are six things that Yahweh hates, yes, seven that are an abomination to him, and a lying tongue and a false witness who utters lies are among them Proverbs 6:16-19. We are called to put away falsehood, for we are members of one another Ephesians 4:25 and to not lie to one another Colossians 3:9. You are right to see dishonesty not as a small matter but as a sin that breaks down resistance to further sin and brings consequences.

We are also deeply encouraged by your grace in praying for your former landlord's team, lawyers and legal representatives with patience and kindness even after hardships. This reflects the heart of Christ who calls us to love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you Matthew 5:44. You have chosen not to repay evil for evil but to leave room for God's justice, for it is written Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19.

We pray together with you now.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus we come before you and we thank you for your mercy and truth. We thank you for the cross and for your presence that sustains us through hardships. Lord, we lift up this former landlord's team, the lawyers and legal representatives to you. You see all things and nothing is hidden that will not be revealed Luke 8:17. We ask that you open their eyes to the truth that will set them free John 8:32, that you convict their hearts and build up in them a holy resistance to dishonesty and a love for honesty. Grant them repentance and turn them from falsehood to walk in integrity. Lord, we ask for your justice to be done and for your protection over those who have been wronged, and we ask for your grace to guard our own hearts from bitterness. Help us to speak truth in love and to surrender our will to yours daily. Let your will be done and let truth prevail for your glory. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand on the truth and to trust the Lord as your defender. He is faithful to bring what is done in darkness into the light and He honors those who honor Him by walking in truth. Continue to pray for those who have wronged you, that they may come to repentance and know the freedom that only comes through Jesus Christ. We stand with you, dedicating our lives anew to Him and trusting His perfect timing and righteous judgment.

We were so encouraged to read your prayer. To ask God to build honesty in the very people who have caused you hardship, and to do so with patience and kindness, shows a heart that wants to follow Jesus even when it is costly.

It makes sense that lies would weigh heavily on you. When truth is twisted, especially in legal matters, it can leave you feeling vulnerable and weary. Choosing to pray for their eyes to be opened rather than holding onto bitterness is a real decision of the will, and we want you to know that the lingering hurt or frustration you may still feel does not undo that decision. Healing of emotions often moves more slowly than the choice to forgive, and forgiveness itself does not require you to pretend nothing happened or to immediately restore trust.

One thing that has helped others in similar situations is to keep your prayer for them separate from the practical side. If paperwork or proceedings are still ongoing, keeping clear notes for those matters can free your prayer time to simply be prayer, without having to sort facts and feelings at once.

We are praying with you.

Father, thank You for Your presence with our friend and for the grace You have already given. We ask You to guard their heart in Your truth and peace, and to work in the hearts of the landlord's team and their representatives, drawing them toward honesty. Lead all involved toward what is right and set our friend free to walk closely with You. In Jesus name, Amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Your prayer has come before the Lord with a right and honest burden, and it is good that you have brought it in the name of Jesus, who is Himself the way, the truth and the life. To pray for those who have dealt falsely with you, to ask not for vengeance but for their eyes to be opened, is to breathe the spirit of Christ who prayed for His enemies.

You have rightly felt the weight of dishonesty. Scripture tells us that lies are refuges of lies, and such refuges are frail. The hail shall sweep them away, for a cold hard truth of God will fall from heaven and crash through every false confidence. No man can build a shelter of untruth and stand in the day of trial. What is built on a lie must fall, for only the truth abides. Our God is abundant in goodness and truth, He cannot lie, and sooner shall heaven and earth pass away than one word of His promise shall fall to the ground.

You have shown patience and kindness to those who have wronged you, and in this you have walked in the steps of Him who is transparent, from head to foot truth in word and in deed. Truth never exerts such power as when it is embodied, and Christ did not merely speak the truth, He was the truth. To be reconciled to God is to be in unison of heart with Him whom we trust, to believe His word to be true and to rest in it. Buy the truth, as the wise man says, and sell it not. Holy Scripture is the standard of the truth of God. Your word is truth. Buy that truth at any price, buy it now, and hold it fast, for you will never be received by God at last unless you bring the truth in your right hand.

Therefore we join you in prayer. We ask the Lord to work in the hearts of that former landlord and of those lawyers and representatives of whom you speak, that the resistance to dishonesty which was broken down may be built up again by His grace. May the Spirit of truth convince them that to lie is to walk in darkness, and that if we say we have fellowship with Him and walk in darkness, we lie and do not the truth. May He grant them honest dealing with God, to confess what is true about themselves and to find that on the ground of truth, sad truth though it be, the Lord will meet them through the atoning blood of Christ, in which there is more than sufficient reason for faith. May they learn that the truth shall make them free indeed, and that their only hope of peace lies Godward.

Be encouraged to continue in submission to the will of God and in trust in His faithfulness. This truth ought to banish your fear of man and strengthen your faith. When fear goes, faith comes in. Genuine faith trusts God in the storm, and knows that all things are in His hand. He is fighting for you and has blessed you with heavenly gifts in Christ Jesus, whose blood was shed for sinners. Rest there, abide in that truth, and let your life continue to be a witness that Jesus is the King of truth, ruling your understanding by His doctrine and your affections by His person.

We commend you and those for whom you pray to Him who is faithful and true, who will in His own time make all things manifest. May He keep you in His truth and make you valiant for it.

In the name of Jesus Christ our only Saviour, Amen.
