Dishonesty

Kensem

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.
In Jesus name,
Amen

We join you in this prayer before our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus, and we thank God for the heart of grace you have shown even while facing hardship. It is a beautiful testimony that you have chosen to respond with patience and kindness rather than bitterness, and that you are praying for those who have wronged you.

We agree with you that lies are serious before God. Scripture is very clear that God loves truth because He Himself is truth. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight Proverbs 12:22. We are also taught, Therefore putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor. For we are members of one another Ephesians 4:25 and Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings Colossians 3:9. A false witness shall not be unpunished. He who pours out lies shall not go free Proverbs 19:5. Dishonesty breaks fellowship with God and with others, and as you prayed, it requires a hardening of the conscience to continue in it.

We also hear your faith that the truth will set free, and we cling to that promise with you. You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free John 8:32. Only the truth of Christ can truly free both the oppressed and the oppressor from the bondage of sin.

We pray together for this difficult situation with the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representatives.

Father in heaven, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who shed His blood on the cross for sinners. We thank you for your presence in our lives, for fighting for us and for blessing us with heavenly gifts even in trials. Lord, you see all things and nothing is hidden from your sight. You know the dishonesty that has taken place and the serious wrong that has been done. We ask that you would bring truth into the light, for you have said that there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed Luke 8:17. We pray that you would build up in these individuals a holy resistance to dishonesty and a love for honesty. Open their eyes to see that lying leads to destruction, and grant them godly sorrow that leads to repentance. Help them to turn from falsehood and to practice honesty in all their dealings. We pray that you would protect the innocent, establish justice, and let your will be done. Give to those who have been wronged continued grace to show patience and kindness, to not be overcome by evil, but to overcome evil with good Romans 12:21, while also trusting you to repay and to judge righteously, for it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19. Strengthen their faith as they surrender their lives and will to you, and let them rest in knowing that you fight for them. We ask that truth would prevail and that all involved would come to know the freedom that is only found in Jesus. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to walk in truth and to guard your own hearts in honesty, even as you seek justice through rightful and lawful means. God calls us to be people of integrity in a dishonest world, and to entrust ourselves to Him who judges righteously. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up Galatians 6:9. Keep praying for your adversaries, that God would have mercy and bring them to repentance, and keep trusting that the Lord will be your defender and will honor those who honor Him.

We hear how heavy this has been, dealing with dishonesty from the landlord's team while trying to remain patient and kind. It takes real grace to keep choosing honesty when you have been hurt by lies, and we admire your desire to see truth prevail rather than seeking to get even.

One thing that has helped others in similar legal tensions is to separate what you can release from what you must still address. You can decide in your heart to let go of revenge and to wish good for those who have wronged you, even while you still wisely pursue what is true and just through proper channels. The emotional ache around being misled often takes longer to quiet than the decision itself, and that is normal. Giving yourself time and space to process that ache with the Lord can keep bitterness from taking root while you continue to act with integrity.

It may help to keep a simple, dated record of communications and to have a trusted, level-headed person review anything you send or receive, so you stay clear and protected as you seek a truthful resolution.

Father, we bring this situation before You in Jesus name. We ask You to guard our friend's heart with peace, to give wisdom and clarity in every conversation and document, and to work in the hearts of all involved so that honesty is valued and practiced. Lead this toward what is true and right according to Your will, and give strength for each next step. Amen.

We join you in thanking our gracious God for His presence in your lives, for His heavenly gifts, and above all for the sacrifice of the cross where the blood of Jesus was shed for sinners. We agree with you that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.

You have spoken rightly that lies are serious before a holy God, for He is a God of truth and His Word is truth. As it is written, Buy the truth and sell it not. This truth is not only to be known in doctrine but to be experienced in the heart and practiced in the life, so that our actions are consistent and straightforward before the Lord. To trifle with dishonesty is to forsake the very treasure we are called to buy at any price, and to live without truth in the life is to show that the truth is not yet fully reigning within.

We join you in prayer for the landlord's team, for lawyers and legal representatives, as you have asked. We pray that the Lord in His mercy would build up in them a resistance to dishonesty and a love for honesty, that He would open their eyes to see that truth shall set free while lying brings bondage and sorrowful consequence. We ask that the Spirit of God would bring honest dealing both with God and with men, for He meets us on the ground of truth when we confess our sin and look to Christ who died for sinners. May they be led to speak what is true and to act with integrity, and may any hardness or deceit be overcome by the power of His grace.

We thank God for the grace He has already given you to show patience and kindness even in hardship. This is to overcome evil with good, and it is the way of Christ who loved us when we were yet sinners. Continue to walk in that practical truth, holding fast to the Word of truth, remembering that the fear of man is taken away when we trust the Lord, and that genuine faith trusts Him even in the storm.

We commend you and all concerned to the Lord, asking that He would establish truth in every heart, that He would guard your lives as you surrender your will to Him, and that He would let His truth prevail for His glory. We ask this in the name of Jesus our only hope, Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We join you in thanking God for His presence, for His heavenly gifts, and above all for the blood of Jesus shed on the cross for sinners. It is right to come to the Father in the name of Jesus, who is the way, the truth and the life, and to ask Him to work where truth has been forsaken.

You have spoken truly that lies are not small faults. Scripture teaches that all dishonesty is serious before God, and when gain or advantage is sought through falsehood the guilt is even greater, bringing loss in this life and in the life to come. God desires truth in the inward parts, and an honest soul is the ground where truth can take hold and bear fruit. Where the heart is not candid, even light is not received, but where there is honesty, truth easily masters the soul and sets it free.

We pray with you for the landlord's team, for the lawyers and legal representatives. We ask the Lord to convict them where they have chosen falsehood and to break the pattern of dishonesty that required them to harden themselves against conscience. May God open their eyes to see that truth brings freedom while lying brings bondage and judgment, and grant them repentance so that they turn from falsehood to practice honesty in all their dealings. May He restrain further wrongdoing and bring what is hidden into the light, according to His justice and mercy.

We also thank God for the grace He has given you to respond with patience and kindness even in hardship. Continue to walk in that grace, not overlooking wrong but not returning evil for evil, entrusting your cause to Him who judges righteously. We ask that the Lord will strengthen you, guard your heart from bitterness, provide for your needs, and establish truth and justice in this matter.

We surrender this situation again to the Lord and ask that His will be done, that truth would prevail, and that all involved would come to know the mercy and transforming power of Jesus Christ, through whom alone there is forgiveness and new life.

In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

Your prayer reflects a heart that wants to honor Jesus as the way, the truth and the life, and that is the right place to begin. Thank you for bringing this burden before the Lord with thankfulness for His presence, His provision, and the blood shed on the cross for sinners. It is also Christlike that even in hardship you have asked for grace to show patience and kindness to the landlord's team, the lawyers and the legal representatives involved.

Scripture is clear that God loves truth because He is truth. Jesus said His words are truth and that heaven and earth will pass away but His words will not. The Spirit bears witness because the Spirit is truth, and He testifies in our hearts together with the water and the blood that we are in Him who is true, even in Jesus Christ. That truth is not temporary, it dwells in those who know Christ and will be with us forever. To try to hide or shade the truth before God gets us nowhere, because He already knows the whole truth of every heart. What He calls us to is to renounce hidden dishonesty and craftiness and instead commend what is true openly before God and before others.

You are right to pray that those who have chosen dishonesty would have their resistance to it built up again. When people commit to a lie, they have to push down that resistance, and often they become blinded. The enemy holds them by distorting the truth and telling them a lie is easier or more profitable than the right path. That is why prayer matters so much. We can ask God to bind that blinding work, to open eyes, and to let them see that truth brings freedom while lying brings consequences. Jesus said the truth will set you free, and that freedom is not only from legal trouble but from the bondage that dishonesty brings to the soul.

It is also realistic to know that truth is not always welcomed. Many would rather be flattered than corrected, and telling the truth can even bring opposition. Our aim is not to please people but to please God, and God in His love wants to forgive sin through Jesus Christ. There is one God and one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus, who died in our place because God so loves us in spite of our rebellion. That same love is offered to those you are praying for. God does not delight in their failure, He desires that they come to know the truth and be saved.

So continue to walk in truth yourself. There is great joy when God's people walk in truth and love, holding fast to what they received from the Father from the beginning. Keep surrendering your will and your situation to Him, trusting Him as the final righteous judge who sees every legal transaction and every hidden motive. He is the one who will ultimately bring justice and mercy together perfectly.

May the Lord grant you continued grace to respond with honesty and kindness, may He open the eyes of those who have practiced dishonesty to love and practice what is true, and may you experience His peace as you trust His truth. Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ will be with you in truth and love as you remain in Him.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf concerning the dishonesty you have faced and your desire to see truth prevail. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer before our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus who is the way the truth and the life as declared in John 14:6.

We have continued to bring before the Lord the situation with your landlords team, the lawyers and legal representatives. We have asked God to build up in them a resistance to dishonesty and a love for honesty and to open their eyes to the truth that will set them free according to John 8:32. We thank God for the grace He has given you to show patience and kindness even through hardship, and for the blessing of the cross where the blood of Jesus was shed for sinners. We agree with you that lies are serious before the Lord, for His word says that lying lips are an abomination to the Lord as written in Proverbs 12:22, yet He desires mercy and truth.

If your request was answered and you have seen honesty and truth prevail, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

We continue to pray together that the Lord will fight for you and bless you with His presence, guard your heart as you surrender your will to Him, and bring conviction and honesty to all involved. We ask that He will strengthen the conscience of those who have chosen dishonesty and lead them to practice truth so they will not suffer the consequences of lying.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son Jesus Christ. We pray this in Jesus Name Amen.
