Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.

We join with you in this prayer and we thank God for the grace He has shown you to come before Him in the name of Jesus, for we know that Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. We are encouraged by your heart that even in hardship you have chosen to show patience and kindness to your landlord's team, lawyers and legal representatives, and to pray for their resistance to dishonesty to be built up rather than praying for their harm.

We agree with you that lies are serious before the Lord. Scripture tells us Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight. Proverbs 12:22 and Therefore putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor. For we are members of one another. Ephesians 4:25. The Lord also warns us Don't lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings Colossians 3:9 and You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. John 8:32. When a person must break down their own conscience to commit dishonesty, it hardens the heart and leads to further sin, and we share your desire that God would open their eyes before they suffer the consequences of choosing falsehood.

We pray together with you, Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus we thank You for Your presence in our lives and for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts, and for the sacrifice of the Cross where the blood of Jesus was shed for us sinners. Lord, You see the dishonesty and the hardships that have been faced, and we ask for Your truth to prevail in this situation. We lift up the landlord's team, the lawyers and legal representatives before You, and we ask that You convict their hearts, build up in them a holy resistance to dishonesty, and help them to practice honesty and to speak truth. Lord, let Your light expose what is hidden and bring all things into the truth that sets us free, and grant them repentance and a desire for righteousness. We also ask for Your protection, provision and peace over those who have been wronged, that You would guard their hearts from bitterness, strengthen them to continue in patience and kindness, and grant wisdom and favor as they seek justice in a lawful and upright way. We dedicate our lives to You and surrender our will to Yours, trusting that You are just and merciful and that You will work all things for good for those who love You. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to walk in truth and to trust the Lord to be your defender. Vengeance belongs to Him, yet He also calls us to pursue what is right and to let our own speech always be truthful and gracious. Keep committing this matter to prayer, keep your own heart free from deceit, and rest in the confidence that God delights in truth and will honor those who honor Him.

We were grateful to read your prayer and to see how you are bringing this difficult situation before the Lord. Facing hardships with a landlord's team and legal representatives while encountering dishonesty is exhausting, and we noticed how you have chosen to respond with patience and kindness even in that strain. That reflects real grace at work in you.

Your desire for truth to prevail and for those involved to grow in honesty is a good and loving prayer. We join you in asking God to work in their hearts and to protect you from further harm. It is understandable that this kind of experience leaves both a decision to make about how you will relate to those who have wronged you, and a longer process for your heart to find rest. God sees both and walks with you through each part.

In the days ahead, it may steady you to keep clear, factual notes of any important conversations or documents, and to have one trusted pastor or wise friend who knows the details and can pray and think through next steps with you. You do not need to carry the weight of this alone.

Father, thank You for Your presence and for the gift of Jesus and the cross. We lift this housing and legal matter to You. Work honesty and clarity where there has been confusion, guard our friend with Your peace, and give wisdom for each decision. Help them to rest in Your care day by day. In Jesus name, Amen.

Your prayer has been brought before the Lord with thanksgiving, and we join our hearts with yours in seeking Him who is the Truth.

We rejoice to hear you confess Jesus as the way, the truth and the life, and to hear you give thanks for His presence and for the blood shed upon the Cross for sinners. There is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved, and it is upon the ground of that atoning blood alone that we may draw near to our heavenly Father. You have come aright, owning your own need of grace and pleading the merit of Christ, and there the Lord will meet you, for He meets us where truth is.

You have spoken truly when you say that lies are serious crimes. The Scripture declares that the Lord God is abundant in goodness and truth, and that He will not deny Himself, for a God of truth cannot lie. His Word is truth, and truth when it is embodied has power. Our Lord did not merely speak the truth, He was the Truth, transparent in word and in deed, and His people are called to be like Him, having truth in doctrine, truth in the heart, and truth in the life. To buy the truth, as the wise man says, and to sell it not, is to hold fast to Holy Scripture as the standard, to know it within by the Spirit's work, and to walk in it with a straightforward and honest course.

We have noted your gracious spirit toward the landlord's team, the lawyers and legal representatives, that though you have faced hardships you have been given grace to show patience and kindness. This is to overcome evil with good, which is the first lesson of the saints. May the Lord continue to keep you in that spirit, that you may not be overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good, and that your honest dealing may itself be a testimony to those who have dealt dishonestly.

We pray with you that the Lord will build up in those who have practiced dishonesty a resistance to lying and a love for honesty. We ask that He who is the King of Truth would rule their understandings by His doctrine and convict their consciences by His Spirit, that they may see that it is a fearful thing to utter falsehood and that the truth alone can set men free. As you have prayed, may their eyes be opened to know that he who has not truth in him abides in darkness, and that honest confession is the path to mercy. For when a man owns the truth concerning himself, that he is a sinner in need of grace, and owns the truth concerning God, that Christ died for sinners, there the atoning blood avails and the Lord smiles upon the contrite.

We pray also for you, that your faith may be strengthened. When fear goes, faith comes in, and genuine faith trusts God even in the storm. He who allowed trial for a season will not suffer His promises to fall to the ground, for sooner shall heaven and earth pass away than one word of our God shall fail. Hang upon His truth as the pitcher hangs upon the nail, and you shall find Him faithful.

We commit you and all concerned into the hands of Him who is abundant in truth, praying that He will work honesty, righteousness and peace, and that He will keep your own heart in the love of Christ, steadfast to buy all truth, to buy only truth, and to buy it at any price, holding fast Christ Himself who is the Truth to be your treasure forever.

Your prayer has been received and we join with you in bringing it before the Father in the name of Jesus, who is the way, the truth and the life.

We thank God for your thankfulness for His presence, for His fighting for you, and for the heavenly gifts and the blood shed on the Cross for sinners. It is right that you come with such gratitude even in a season of hardship, and it is right that you take lies seriously. Scripture teaches that dishonesty is no small matter, but a deep corruption of the soul that, if not repented of, brings loss of the kingdom and great wailing. As you have prayed, those who persist in lying must break down every resistance to dishonesty within themselves, and that is a fearful condition.

We commend the grace God has given you to show patience and kindness to the landlord's team, the lawyers and the legal representatives even while you have suffered. This is the fruit of righteousness and holiness of truth, and it reflects the patience and kindness that was first shown to us in Christ. To live in all godliness and honesty is not only right doctrine but right living, and God is honored when His people respond to wrong with truth and mercy rather than with reviling.

We join you in praying that God will build up in those who have dealt dishonestly a new resistance to dishonesty. Such need is there everywhere for an honest soul, and when truth lays hold of an honest soul she easily masters it, as the sun easily enlightens clear eyes. We pray that the Lord will open their eyes to see that the truth will set them free, that He will convict them of oaths and falsehoods and covetous dealings, and grant them repentance so they will turn from perjury and falsehood to practice honesty. We pray that they will come to fear God, to love truth, and to escape the consequences that lying brings both in this life and before His judgment.

We also pray for you, that the Lord will keep you in quiet and peaceable perseverance, that you will continue to dedicate your lives to Him and surrender your will to Him, and that He will guard your hearts from bitterness and keep you walking in honesty and love.

Heavenly Father, we ask in the name of Jesus that You would work in the hearts of all involved, that You would cause truth to prevail, that You would establish honesty where there has been deceit, and that You would let Your will be done. Strengthen Your children to remain faithful, patient and kind, and let all that is done bring honor to Christ. In Jesus name, Amen.

Your prayer reflects a heart that wants to honor God even in a painful and unjust situation, and that is pleasing to Him. You have rightly come in the name of Jesus, for He Himself said He is the way, the truth and the life, and there is no other way to the Father except through Him. To come to God through the blood shed on the cross is the only true ground for prayer, and you have come on that ground with thanksgiving.

You are right to take lies seriously. Scripture teaches us to renounce hidden things of dishonesty and not to walk in craftiness or handle the truth deceitfully, but to commend the truth openly before God and before every conscience. God sees the heart as it truly is. We cannot present a false picture to Him, because He knows the whole truth about us. His Spirit is truth and bears witness to what is true, and that witness agrees with the blood and the water that testify of Christ. When we walk honestly before Him, we are walking in the light.

You have also shown grace in a difficult place by asking God to help those who have wronged you rather than only asking for judgment on them. You have shown patience and kindness to the landlord's team and to the lawyers and representatives, even while facing hardship, and that reflects the mercy you have received. God calls His servants to please Him rather than people, and that often means speaking and living the truth even when it is not well received. Many people prefer flattery to truth, but the faithful course is to love in truth and to walk in truth.

It is true that to live a pattern of dishonesty a person must break down the inner resistance to lying that God has placed in the conscience. That resistance is weakened when the mind is blinded and the truth is distorted. Scripture shows that the enemy works to blind minds and to hold people with lies, and we are to pray that this blinding work be broken so they can see clearly. Your prayer that God would build up their resistance to dishonesty and teach them to practice honesty is a good and biblical prayer. You are asking that they would come to know by experience the truth that is in Jesus, for only the truth will set them free. Jesus did not only speak true words, He is the truth, and He came to reveal that God so loved the world in spite of rebellion that He gave His Son to die in our place.

Continue to walk in truth yourselves. There is no greater joy than to know that God's children are walking in truth, because the truth dwells in us and will be with us forever. As you do, you can rest in the promise of grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ, given in truth and love. Keep bringing this legal matter before the Lord, asking Him to open eyes, to expose what is hidden, to restrain further deceit, and to bring all involved to repentance and to honest dealing. And keep surrendering your own lives and will to Him daily, trusting that He is fighting for you and will bless you as you trust His way.

Father, we agree with this prayer and ask You to work in the hearts of all these who have acted dishonestly, that You would grant them repentance, a love for truth, and a turning from lies to honesty, and that You would guard and provide for these Your children who seek to walk faithfully before You.
