Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.
In Jesus name,
amen

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this matter of dishonesty that has caused such pain and hardship. Heavenly Father, we thank You for the truth of Your Word, which declares, "The LORD detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy" (Proverbs 12:22). Lies are not merely mistakes, they are sin, and they grieve Your heart, for You are a God of truth. "God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind" (Numbers 23:19).

We acknowledge that dishonesty has no place in the life of a believer, for Jesus Himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life" (John 14:6). When we walk in lies, we walk away from Christ, who is the embodiment of truth. We rebuke the spirit of deception that has taken root in this situation, for "no lie is of the truth" (1 John 2:21). We declare that the blood of Jesus, shed on the cross, has power to break every chain of falsehood, for "the truth will set you free" (John 8:32).

We pray for the landlord’s team, the lawyers, and all involved in this deception. Father, we ask that You convict their hearts by Your Holy Spirit, for "when he comes, he will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment" (John 16:8). Soften their hardened hearts and replace their resistance to dishonesty with a hunger for integrity. Let them see the destruction their lies have caused, not just to others, but to their own souls. "The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity" (Proverbs 11:3).

We also lift up those who have been wronged by these lies. Lord, we ask that You heal their wounds and restore what has been stolen from them. Give them wisdom to navigate this situation with grace, as You have commanded: "Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing" (1 Peter 3:9). May they be a testimony of Your love, even in the face of injustice.

Father, we surrender this entire matter into Your hands. We trust in Your justice, for "the LORD works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed" (Psalm 103:6). Expose every lie, bring every hidden thing to light, and let Your truth prevail. We declare that no weapon formed against Your children will prosper, for "no weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you" (Isaiah 54:17).

We pray for repentance to flood the hearts of those who have deceived. May they turn from their wicked ways and seek Your forgiveness, for "if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). Let them experience the freedom that comes from walking in truth, for "the LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18).

Above all, we pray that Your name would be glorified in this situation. May Your truth shine brightly, drawing all involved into a deeper relationship with You. We dedicate our lives anew to You, Lord, and ask that You align our hearts with Your will. Help us to walk in honesty, love, and integrity, reflecting the character of Christ in all we do.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

It’s not easy to face serious dishonesty and still choose patience and kindness, especially when the lies hurt you directly. What you’ve described, praying for the people responsible and actively showing them the same grace you’ve received, isn’t natural. It takes a work of God in our own hearts to resist retaliation and instead desire their good. That kind of steady, non-anxious goodness has a way of protecting you from bitterness even while you wait for the truth to come to light.

We also hear how much you’re carrying: legal pressures, offenses stacked on offenses. It’s wearying. So we just want to stand with you and acknowledge that your response, praying they’d develop a resistance to dishonesty and be spared its consequences, is a genuine mark of Christ’s love at work. That doesn’t minimize how serious their actions are, but it means the lies aren’t the last word over your own soul.

Keep walking uprightly, as you are. Continue committing the outcome to the Lord, who sees what’s hidden and will bring things to light in his time. If the weight of it ever feels too heavy alone, let trusted brothers or sisters in your church carry it with you in prayer and practical support.

Let’s pray together.

Jesus, thank you that you are the Truth, and nothing false can stand before you forever. Give this dear one continued strength and peace amid the strain. We ask you to work in the hearts of the landlord, the legal team, and everyone involved, build in them a healthy resistance to deceit, and let the truth they need to face draw them toward honesty and integrity. Protect this family from further harm, and guide the legal process toward what is right and just. In your name, Amen.

The cry of your heart ascends in a right direction, seeking the God of Truth against the foul sin of dishonesty. Yet observe how easily a prayer for another’s reformation may become a subtle indictment, rehearsing their crimes before the throne under the cloak of intercession. Be watchful. The very detail of their breaking down resistance to dishonesty suggests a mind that has dwelt long upon the injury. See to it that your own spirit does not become tainted by the very thing you deplore, for we have too many hypocritical prayers that are good for nothing. It is a terrible state when our affection for godly people does not draw us toward godliness, and it is an equally perilous state when our opposition to ungodly people draws us into bitterness. The house in which we dwell has God for its Landlord, and these adversaries of yours are but fellow tenants under the same great Owner. Behave as occupiers under a Royal Owner should behave. Pay your rent to the great Landlord and let the arrears be made up, not by altering their lease, but by examining your own.

You pray that truth will set them free, and so it shall if the Lord wills. Yet mark this: truth begins its liberating work in the one who prays. The prayer “Lord, help me” is a handy prayer, a prayer for everybody, a prayer for every place. It will do to die with. But if you pray that prayer from your heart, you will be encouraged to play the man and do well for God and for His Truth. This means laying aside every weight, including the weight of a case built up against a landlord’s team. Set your own house in order, for you shall die, and not live. A just tenant desires to restore to his landlord his property unhurt. Are you more concerned with the dilapidations in their character than in your own? Jesus never prayed a deceitful prayer; if He intercedes, He loves. Can you, having shown patience and kindness, love them sufficiently to leave their judgment in the hands of Him who judges righteously?

This is the test of your surrender. To dedicate your life to God means to let this matter rest entirely with Him, content to suffer wrong if that be His will, knowing that the mighty God will use all His power for righteousness and truth in His own time. The doctrine of the fixity of events is not contrary to the truth that prayer is effectual, but its chief effect is often upon the praying soul. Continue to wrestle, but let your agony be that you may perfectly reflect Christ, not that you may merely see earthly vindication. Tarry here, in this trial, for God’s glory and for the world’s benefit, until you are ripe for removal.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You pray for the landlord's team that their resistance to dishonesty be built up. This is a good prayer, but do not be deceived: the ability lies in God's gracious influence, a power we draw down by our own will. If they will not come to the truth, what need is there of drawing? Yet the words do not take away their free will, but show that they greatly need assistance. Pray then that they become willing comers, enjoying much succor from above.

You have shown them patience and kindness, and this is no small thing. For the honor accruing to you is twofold: first, that you have made progress in virtue; second, that your conduct has not been found to fall short of the truth. But consider: though they have committed serious crimes to lie against you, from dishonesty comes a very heavy charge. The dishonesty that arises from such dealings brings oaths, perjuries, and falsehoods, and men are taken up with worldly things only, continuing riveted to the earth. What could be more pernicious?

Yet remember how the affliction not only was not the parent of grief, but it even became an occasion of gladness. God makes no account of the honor due unto Himself for the sake of our love towards our neighbor. Let your own sacrifice of prayer be offered, but He sends you to be reconciled even while the gift lies there. This is not from any desire to punish that He allows these trials, but out of very tender affection.

Therefore continue to dedicate your lives to God and surrender your will. But be not surprised if some, even after partaking of the truth, fall into error. There are seducing spirits who speak lies in hypocrisy, having their conscience seared. These utter falsehoods not through ignorance but as acting a part. Yet truth will set them free if they turn. The tomb of the one who lives by lies is nowhere to be seen, but the memory of the one who walks in truth is everywhere accompanied with a good report. When truth shines forth, it puts to shame even one's enemies.

Pray then that their eyes be opened, but also examine your own hearts. For even those who seem to live by honest labors gather many evils when they do not take heed. The Lord sees the inward affection. Let your prayer be not only for them to resist dishonesty, but that they may impart to the needy rather than increase their goods through shameless dealings. For how much better to feed hungry souls than to hang from their ears the food of countless poor for no purpose or profit.

I hear the weight behind this prayer, and I am grateful you brought it here. You are walking through a storm where dishonesty has been weaponized against you, and that kind of betrayal cuts deep. You are doing something remarkable: instead of repaying deceit with rage, you are showing patience and kindness. That is not natural; it is the fruit of the Spirit at work in you, and I want to encourage you not to grow weary in that.

Jesus told us plainly that He is the truth. Every lie, no matter how skillfully crafted, runs headlong into the unchangeable reality of who He is. Lies may seem to win for a season in a courtroom or a negotiation, but truth belongs to eternity. The Lord is not fooled by polished arguments or well-dressed fraud. He knows the whole ugly truth of every heart, and nothing can be hidden from Him. That is a fearsome comfort for you right now. You do not need to muster the perfect defense or expose every falsehood yourself, because the God who is truth will bring every deed into the light. There is a legal transaction that matters more than any earthly proceeding: the throne room of heaven itself is the place where final justice is administered. You can rest in that.

Keep walking in the truth, not just knowing it but doing it. One of the easiest traps when we are wronged is to resent the people who wronged us so deeply that we start excusing a little deceit of our own. Do not let their breakdown of resistance to dishonesty wear down your own resistance. The Spirit who lives in you is truth, and He bears witness to your heart of what is right. You are praying for your opponents to have their eyes opened and to practice honesty. That is a Christlike prayer. Many times people do not want to hear the truth because it is painful. It demands they change, and they would rather stay comfortable in their darkness. But what is impossible with man is possible with God, and we keep praying.

In the meantime, I would gently remind you to guard your own soul. Let your prayer be a genuine surrender, not a way of reciting your own goodness before God. You have shown grace in a hard situation. Keep delighting in His law, not in the hope of seeing your adversaries punished, but in the knowledge that you are loved by the One who took your sins and died in your place. That is the deepest truth: God so loves you, in spite of your own rebellion and foolishness, that He sent His Son to rescue you. If He has forgiven you so much, you can trust Him with the injustices done to you.

So keep walking in truth. Keep showing love. And do not be surprised if the world pushes back; that has always been the pattern. But you have a foundation that cannot be shaken. The truth dwells in you and will be with you forever. May the Lord Himself be your peace and your vindication, and may He, in His perfect timing, build back in those who have lied a new resistance to dishonesty and a fear of Him that leads to life.

We are deeply grateful for the privilege of standing in prayer with you during this time of seeking God’s truth and righteousness. It is a sacred honor to lift up this matter of dishonesty and to intercede for hearts to be softened toward honesty and integrity. We continue to pray that the Lord would build up resistance to deception in the lives of the landlord’s team, lawyers, and legal representatives, just as He has strengthened you to walk in patience and kindness despite the hardships faced.

We ask the Father to open their eyes to the freedom found in truth, that they may turn from dishonesty and avoid the consequences of deception. May the Holy Spirit convict, restore, and renew their hearts, drawing them closer to the light of Christ. We also pray for you, that the Lord would sustain you with His peace, wisdom, and perseverance as you navigate this situation.

If the Lord has already moved in this circumstance, we would be overjoyed to hear a praise report so that we may rejoice with you. If the answer has not yet come, we invite you to post this request again so that we may continue to stand with you in prayer, trusting in God’s perfect timing and justice.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you remain steadfast in Him, surrendering your will to His and walking in the truth of Jesus Christ. We pray all these things in His holy and precious name. Amen.
