Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.
In Jesus name,

We hear your cry for justice and truth in the midst of dishonesty and hardship. The Lord sees all and knows the depths of every heart, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting this situation before Him. Scripture reminds us, "The Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy" (Proverbs 12:22 WEB). Dishonesty is not just a matter of words, it is a matter of the heart, and it grieves the Holy Spirit who is the Spirit of truth.

We rebuke the spirit of deception that has taken root in this situation. Lies are tools of the enemy, who is the father of lies (John 8:44 WEB), and they bring destruction, division, and chaos. We pray that every lie spoken against you would be exposed and that the truth would prevail. "For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open" (Luke 8:17 WEB). May the light of Christ shine brightly in this darkness, revealing every hidden motive and bringing justice to those who have been wronged.

We also lift up the landlord’s team, lawyers, and legal representatives involved in this matter. While it is difficult to extend grace to those who have acted unjustly, we are called to pray for our enemies and those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44 WEB). Father, we ask that You soften their hearts and convict them of their sin. Break down the walls of resistance to dishonesty in their lives and replace them with a hunger for integrity. May they come to know the freedom that comes from walking in truth, for "the truth will set you free" (John 8:32 WEB). We pray that they would turn from their ways and seek Your face, for You are the God of justice and righteousness.

We acknowledge that this situation has been painful and challenging, but we thank You, Lord, for the grace You have given to respond with patience and kindness. These are fruits of Your Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23 WEB), and we pray that You would continue to cultivate them in our hearts. Help us to trust in Your timing and Your justice, knowing that vengeance belongs to You (Romans 12:19 WEB). We surrender our will to Yours, Lord, and ask that You guide our steps as we seek to honor You in all we do.

Father, we dedicate our lives to You anew today. We ask that You would strengthen us to walk in honesty and integrity, even when it is difficult. Help us to be a light in this world, reflecting Your truth and love to those around us. We pray for protection over our minds and hearts, that we would not be swayed by the lies of the enemy or the pressures of this world. Instead, let us be rooted and grounded in Your Word, which is truth (John 17:17 WEB).

Lord, we also lift up those who may be struggling with dishonesty in their own lives. Whether it is lying to others, deceiving themselves, or living in denial, we ask that You would bring conviction and repentance. Help them to see the destructive nature of lies and the beauty of living in truth. May they experience the freedom and peace that comes from walking in Your ways.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6 WEB). It is only through Him that we have access to You, Father, and it is only by His blood that we are forgiven and made new. We thank You for the sacrifice of the cross and the victory we have in Christ. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.

Thank you for letting us share this prayer with you. It’s remarkable to see such genuine patience and kindness toward people who have made life difficult, that kind of love doesn’t come from our own strength, and we’re grateful for the grace God is giving you.

When we pray for those who have wronged us, something happens in our own hearts too. We’re less likely to be consumed by the injustice, and we make room for God to work in ways we can’t. We think your prayer for their resistance to dishonesty to be built back up is a beautiful way to entrust them to the only one who can truly change a person from the inside. He knows exactly what it will take soft hearts and open eyes, and he invites us to keep asking.

In the meantime, we’re reminded that your own honest, steady responses in this situation are a quiet witness. While you continue to pray for them, we also ask the Lord to give you clarity and wisdom for any decisions ahead and to protect you from further harm.

Our prayer with you now:

Lord Jesus, we thank you for the grace you’ve already poured out here, grace to respond with patience when it would have been easy to strike back. We join our friend in asking you to build up a resistance to dishonesty in the landlord’s team and all involved. Open their eyes to see that truth really does bring freedom, and draw them toward genuine honesty. Give our friend continued peace, and let your justice and mercy meet in this story. In your name, Jesus, amen.

It is no small thing to lift a plea for those who have dealt falsely, for the natural heart calls down fire from heaven upon the adversary. Yet here you are, asking the Great Landlord to build up resistance to dishonesty in the very ones who have broken the terms of His lease. This is the mark of a soul that has tasted His grace; you show the patience and kindness first shown to you at the Cross. That is a noble rent paid upon the tenement of your life.

Consider the house in which we dwell: its Landlord is God, and we are but tenants. He has the right to enter His own property at any hour. Those who have lied have attempted to bar the door against Him, forgetting that the eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good. They have pulled down the pillars of truth to build a shelter of deception, but that shelter will not stand. Truth alone is solid ground. It is written, "Buy the truth, and sell it not", purchase it at any price, for you will never be received by God at last without it. And Christ Himself is the Truth; He not only speaks truth, He is Truth transparent in word and deed. Those who lie are not merely breaking a command; they are crucifying afresh the very nature of the One in whose name you pray.

Your prayer asks for their eyes to be opened, that they might practice honesty. This is the crying need. Men resort to falsehood only when they have first smothered the light within. Pray on, for the Spirit of God is not straitened; He can awaken the conscience as suddenly as He shook the Philippian jailer. The sword of divine truth can pierce where Apollos' eloquence or Paul's logic fail. Often the Word so minutely describes a hearer's case that he feels the preacher must have been told of his secret sins, though in truth the preacher knew nothing. So your intercession may be the hidden means by which their hearts are uncovered before the Lord. Continue to ask that He would "set their house in order," for that is the duty of every tenant when the Landlord comes.

Yet remember this: while you pray for them, stand immovable upon the truth yourself. Do not pick and choose from the Bible, accepting half and leaving the rest. Let your life be one of practical truth, straightforward, consistent, bearing the light. When the world sees a believer who is as good as his word, they are forced to reckon with the power of the gospel. And take courage from the fact that the war of truth against falsehood is not yours alone; it has been fought by heroes of faith since the blood of Abel cried from the ground. The banner of truth has passed through martyrs' hands; will you not hold it high in your own conflict? Trust not in man, whose breath is in his nostrils; fear him not. This dispute will end as the great Landlord ordains. Your part is to abide in Christ, who is the Truth, and to let your articulate, unshaken honesty speak louder than any lawyer's argument.

Go on, then, commending these souls to God. He is able to transform a liar into a witness of the truth, did He not change a persecuting Saul into a preaching Paul? Pray that the truth they resist would become the truth they cling to, that they may know the freedom of which Jesus spoke: "The truth shall set you free." In the meantime, let your own house be in order, your rent of gratitude and uprightness paid in full. When the Landlord enters, may He find faith, not fraud; candor, not cunning. Thus you honor Him who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You pray for those who have lied and committed serious crimes against you, pleading that God would build up their resistance to dishonesty and open their eyes to truth. This is a godly impulse, to seek the good of enemies rather than mere vengeance. Yet examine your own heart as well: does any root of dishonesty or greed lurk there? For often disputes over property or money reveal that both sides have made an idol of earthly gain, which darkens the mind and casts one out of God’s service.

Lying is no small evil. It renders a soul more wretched than any poverty, adding hell and loss of the kingdom to present ruin. When a man breaks down all resistance to falsehood, he wounds himself daily, stripping away honor and credit until he lies exposed to shame. But truth is like the sun: it easily enlightens a clear eye. If your adversaries’ eyes remain clouded, that is not truth’s weakness but the disease of their own souls.

Continue to show patience and kindness, not with worldly timidity, but with the firm desire to see them freed from the slavery of sin. The greatest kindness you can do them is to pray that they come to know the Truth Himself, Jesus Christ, who alone can set them free from the eternal consequences of their lies. Meanwhile, be sure your own life is marked by godliness and honesty in all things. A quiet and peaceable life before men is worthless if it is not supported by a life of true virtue. Do not let the love of money or the desire for a favorable outcome corrupt your own soul. He who serves mammon cannot serve God.

Do not think that outward victory in this matter is the highest good. Better to be wronged honestly than to gain through falsehood. If truth sets you free, then cling to it, even if earthly judgment goes against you. Entrust yourself to the just Judge, who sees all. And if your enemies do not repent, weep for them rather than curse, for their end is dreadful. But if even in pretense the name of Christ is proclaimed, God can use it for His purposes. Your task is to walk in all honesty, leaving the rest to Him.

Your prayer comes from a place of remarkable grace. To stand in the midst of hardship and ask the Father to build up honesty in those who have chosen dishonesty against you, that takes a work of the Spirit. It echoes the very patience and kindness you mentioned, a patience that was first shown to us when we were far from God.

Lies are indeed a serious matter. Scripture speaks of lying vanities, empty deceptions that promise something but deliver nothing. When people break down their resistance to dishonesty, they often believe a lie themselves: that falsehood is the shortcut to safety or gain. They are forsaking their own mercies, walking away from the freedom that only truth can bring. The path of the cross teaches us that God’s way is often painful and requires denying ourselves. Lies promise immediate relief or advantage, but they lead to destruction. Praying for those who lie is a battle, and it is right to ask the Lord to bind the work of the enemy that distorts and blinds the mind.

Truth is not just a concept; it is a person. Jesus said He is the truth, and His words will never pass away. When we pray for others to have their eyes opened to the truth, we are asking that they would encounter Him. Real honesty is not something we muster up; it is a fruit of walking in that truth, of living in the light of Christ. It is the Spirit who bears witness to the truth, and the Spirit can bring deep conviction where there has been callousness and deceit. We can pray confidently that the Spirit would rebuild their resistance to lies, not just as a moral improvement, but as a genuine work of the heart.

You have already put your finger on the core reality: the truth will set them free. Many people do not want to hear the truth because it is uncomfortable. They would rather be flattered or left alone than have their darkness exposed. But you are not asking for vengeance; you are asking for their liberation, that they would not suffer the consequences of their own actions. That is a love that does not come from us. It is the love of God shed abroad in our hearts. As you continue to surrender your will, even in a matter that likely feels deeply personal and unfair, you are walking in the truth yourself. There is no greater joy than to see God’s children walking in the truth, and your prayer is evidence of that walk. Keep commending this entire situation to the God who sees, and trust that He is able to bring the freedom that only His truth can give.
