Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes...
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.
In Jesus name, amen

We stand with you in this battle against dishonesty, recognizing that deception is a grievous sin that wounds not only those directly affected but also the very heart of God. Jesus declared, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6 WEB). There is no room for lies in the life of a believer, for the enemy is the father of lies (John 8:44 WEB), and we are called to walk in the light of Christ.

We rebuke every spirit of deception operating in this situation. The Word of God is clear: "Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight" (Proverbs 12:22 WEB). The legal team and all involved must be held accountable to the truth, for God hates a false witness who utters lies (Proverbs 6:16-19 WEB). We pray that their consciences would be pricked by the Holy Spirit, leading them to repentance and a turning away from dishonesty.

Father, we ask that You expose every hidden lie and bring every deceitful action into the light. As it is written, "Nothing is covered up that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known" (Luke 12:2 WEB). Let the truth prevail in this matter, and let justice be served according to Your righteousness. We also pray for wisdom and discernment for those seeking truth, that they would not be swayed by falsehoods but would stand firm on Your Word.

We thank You for the grace You have given to extend patience and kindness even in the face of injustice. However, let us not confuse kindness with tolerance of sin. We must speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15 WEB), even when it is difficult, for the sake of those trapped in deception. We pray that the hearts of those involved would be softened, that they would turn from their wicked ways, and that they would find salvation in Jesus Christ, who is the only way to forgiveness and eternal life.

Lord, we surrender this situation to You, trusting that You will work all things together for good (Romans 8:28 WEB) for those who love You. Strengthen us to walk in integrity, to speak truth, and to trust in Your justice. May Your name be glorified in this matter, and may Your will be done.

Heavenly Father, we lift up those who have been wronged by these lies. Comfort them, restore what has been taken, and heal their hearts. Let them experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB). We also pray for those who have participated in dishonesty, may they come to know the freedom that comes from repentance and walking in Your truth.

We dedicate our lives to You, Lord, and ask that You continue to guide us in Your ways. May we always seek Your face and follow Your commands, for Your Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105 WEB). In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We’ve been sitting with your request and want you to know how much we respect the grace you’re extending to the people who have acted dishonestly. It’s remarkable that in the middle of a painful legal battle, you’re not only asking God to set things right but also praying for those who’ve lied, asking him to build up their resistance to dishonesty and lead them to truth. That kind of patience and kindness, rooted in the same mercy you’ve received, is a genuine work of the Spirit.

We also understand how exhausting it is to face someone else’s ongoing deceit. When dishonesty becomes a pattern, it’s rarely just about surface choices. Often it grows out of fear, pride, or a deep need to protect something inside. That doesn’t excuse the wrong, but it can help our hearts stay soft when we’re tempted to grow hard. We can pray for God to visit those buried places in their lives while we keep trusting him with the outcome.

One small thing that might help in the day-to-day is simply to keep lifting this burden back to the Lord each time anxiety or frustration flares up, even a quiet “I trust you, Jesus” in the middle of the stress. You’re already doing the big thing by refusing to let bitterness take root.

Let’s pray together now.

Lord Jesus, we ask you to shine your light into this situation. You see every hidden thing, and we ask that the truth would come to the surface. Where the landlord’s team and the legal representatives have built walls of dishonesty, we pray you would gently tear those walls down, not just so the facts are known, but so their hearts are changed. Give them a growing distaste for lies and a new courage to walk in honesty. For our brother/sister who has been wronged, grant deep peace that holds steady regardless of how slowly things move. Guard them from resentment, and keep their hope fixed on you. In your name we pray, amen.

You speak of dishonesty and lies, and you call upon the God of truth. It is a good and right thing to bring such matters before the throne of grace. But remember this: there is forgiveness with Him. That is the echo of the ages, the sweet note that rings through the darkness, "There is forgiveness." Let that truth sink into your soul as you face the deceit of men. Before you plead for the landlord’s team, see to it that your own heart rests fully in the pardon purchased by the precious blood of Jesus. Every sin you have ever committed, and every sin that has been committed against you, can be swallowed up in that fathomless ocean of divine mercy. He blots out transgressions for His own sake, and He will not remember your sins. This is the unshakeable foundation upon which you stand when the world's dishonesty assails you.

You have prayed for those who have wronged you, showing them patience and kindness. That is the very fruit of the forgiveness you have received. When we realize how much we have been forgiven, it becomes as natural as breath to forgive others. You cannot open your hand to receive mercy from God and keep it clenched in unforgiveness toward your fellow men. The forgiveness you have in Christ is not a grudging pardon; it is full, free, eternal, and gladsome. He casts your sins behind His back, and He bids you do likewise for those who trespass against you. You ask Him to build up their resistance to dishonesty; but first, let the memory of your own forgiven debts make your heart tender toward them. They need to see in you a reflection of the Christ who forgave His murderers. This is a far mightier argument than any legal brief.

Oh, let the truth of God burn in your bones! You have rightly said that Jesus is the truth, and that truth sets men free. The world’s lies are chains, but God’s truth is liberty. Pray on, but pray also with this confidence: the Lord who commands honesty will not let the guilty go unpunished in the end. Yet His heart yearns for their repentance far more than their ruin. Your suffering at their hands has been observed by the Lord of hosts. He sees every false word, every twisted fact. Leave them in His hands, while you continue to walk in the light, your own lips dripping with honesty. Do not return evil for evil, but overcome evil with good. That is the way of the cross.

I hear in your petition a soul that has surrendered to God. Good! Then trust Him to manage both your vindication and your enemies’ conviction. There is forgiveness for them as surely as there was for you, if they will but see the truth. And if they will not, the God who forgives is also the God who judges. But you, my friend, stand fast in the liberty of forgiveness. Let no root of bitterness spring up to trouble you. Instead, let the joy of your own pardon fill you with such a gale of gratitude that you blow away the very thought of vengeance. Christ has forgiven you the ten thousand talents; forgive others the hundred pence. Then shall your peace be like a river, and your righteousness as the waves of the sea. The truth will indeed set you free, free from the cage of resentment, free from the gall of bitterness, free to love as you have been loved. Go now, and let that freedom be your strength.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

When you pray for those who have wronged you, you fight the good fight, but take heed that this very prayer does not become a snare of pride. For often we pray for our enemies and yet secretly desire that God’s justice fall swiftly upon them, masking vengeance as mercy. Examine your heart. Do you truly wish these lawyers and landlords to be free from the poison of dishonesty, or do you merely wish to escape your own hardship? The liar wounds his own soul far more than any injury he inflicts upon you. Every false word is a self-inflicted gash, stripping him bare of honor before the angels, even if no earthly court condemns him. So your prayer is just, but let it begin within your own breast: root out every shadow of deceit, for what profit is it if the landlord’s team becomes honest yet you harbor a dishonest tongue in smaller matters? The love of money, as I have often said, is the furnace from which such evils blaze forth. It distorts judgment, dissolves friendship, and makes men bite and devour one another like wild beasts. When you see these men grasping after gain by lies, do not merely pray for them; pity them as pitiable captives, chained by a madness worse than any demonic possession.

Yet do not imagine that praying for their honesty is enough. You must also show them a life so transparent that the truth of Christ is proclaimed through your patience and kindness. This, you say, you have done by grace. Persevere. Let your conduct be a constant reproof to their dishonesty, not by bitter words but by the quiet integrity that needs no defense. And while you wait for God to open their eyes, remember that the affliction you endure is not empty. As I have written elsewhere, tribulation can become an occasion of inward affection and spiritual growth if you refuse to let it breed resentment. The cross you carry in these legal battles is a shadow of the Cross; bear it nobly, and you will find that truth indeed sets free, first your own soul, then perhaps theirs. But never think that suffering wrong automatically sanctifies you. Many endure hardship and yet remain greedy, irritable, or self-righteous. Place your trust not in the justice of your cause, but in the mercy of Him who shed His blood for sinners, and then you will be able to love these men genuinely, not with a love that merely tolerates, but with a love that earnestly desires their salvation and complete transformation. Pray on, but pray with tears for your own sins as well as theirs, and let your prayers be joined to almsgiving and fasting, lest they become empty noise.

Your prayer request rises directly out of a deep and painful place, and the very way you have framed it shows a heart that is reaching toward the light. You are asking for something profoundly costly: that those who have committed serious wrongs against you would have their resistance to dishonesty rebuilt. This is not the natural human response. The natural impulse cries out for mere justice, for the penalty to fall. Yet you are asking for mercy, and you are doing so in the name of the One in whom mercy and truth met together.

You see, the world looks at a situation like this and says that truth has fallen in the street. When dishonesty rules in a legal proceeding, equity cannot enter. It feels exactly like what the prophet described: no one is pleading for truth; people are trusting in empty words and conceiving mischief. A person who departs from evil can become the prey. That is the bitter fruit of lies. But you have not asked for vengeance. You have asked for their eyes to be opened so they will not suffer the consequences of lying. This is the very heart of God, who desires that all would come to a knowledge of the truth.

You mentioned that Jesus is the truth. Never let that reality drift from the center of this storm. When Pilate cynically asked, “What is truth?” the embodiment of all truth was standing right in front of him, bound and soon to be condemned. The world despairs of finding truth because it sees justice perverted every day. But in the cross, God did the impossible. Justice could not simply dismiss our guilt with a wave of the hand, for then truth would be violated. Yet mercy longed to forgive. The cross is the place where righteousness and peace kissed each other. The penalty for every lie, every crime, every act of rebellion was exacted in full through Jesus’ bloody sacrifice. That is the truth that sets us free.

And because that truth is settled, you are free to walk in love toward those who have wronged you. Lies are indeed serious crimes, as you prayed. They are not merely social missteps; they are lying vanities, empty deceits that promise a shortcut, a way to win without the pain of the cross, a flight from accountability. But watching over a lying vanity eventually makes a person forsake their own mercy. The saddest condition of all is when someone does not love the truth, because that rejection creates an inner vacuum that strong delusion rushes to fill. The God of this world blinds minds; that is the spiritual reality behind the legal and financial maneuvers you are facing.

Your prayer that God would build up their resistance is a prayer that strikes directly at those spiritual chains. It is a prayer we are called to offer, because we can, through prayer, ask for the removal of that blinding work. You have asked that the truth they have so violently resisted would break through. That is a dangerous and merciful prayer, and it aligns you with the work of the Great Redeemer. Remember Ruth, lying at the feet of Boaz, waiting for the legal transaction that would secure her future. He was her kinsman-redeemer, and no one could snatch that legal case from his hand once he took it up. In the same way, the highest court of heaven has already seen your true Advocate make his righteous plea through the blood of the eternal covenant. The final verdict on your life is sealed with mercy and peace.

Stand firm, then, in the truth you know. Continue to show them the patience and kindness you have already resolved to show. This does not mean pretending the wrong never happened; it means refusing to become a prey to bitterness while you wait. Their lies may seem to hold sway for a moment, but lies have no eternal weight. Declare the truth of your God and trust Him. He saw what displeased Him, and He is not indifferent. May the reality of Jesus, who is the truth, so fill your heart that you can continue to surrender this entire ugly situation into His hands, believing that mercy triumphs over judgment and that the truth will indeed spring forth.
