Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes, and we ask you to forgive us when we lied or misinterpreted something.
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.
In Jesus name, amen

We join with you in lifting this matter before our Heavenly Father, acknowledging that Jesus is indeed the way, the truth, and the life. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood, shed on the cross, that we are forgiven and made new. We are grateful for the grace that allows us to approach God with our burdens, knowing that He hears and answers our prayers according to His will.

Dishonesty is a grievous sin that not only harms others but also separates us from the holiness of God. The Bible is clear about the severity of lying: "You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor" (Exodus 20:16 WEB). Proverbs 6:16-19 tells us, "There are six things which Yahweh hates; yes, seven which are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are swift in running to mischief, a false witness who utters lies, and he who sows discord among brothers." Lying is not a trivial matter; it is an abomination to the Lord and leads to destruction.

We recognize the hardship you have faced, and we pray that God would continue to strengthen you with His grace, enabling you to show patience and kindness even in the face of adversity. It is a testament to His work in your life that you can extend such grace to those who have wronged you. However, we must also rebuke the spirit of dishonesty that has taken root in the hearts of those involved. The Bible warns, "Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight" (Proverbs 12:22 WEB). We must pray not only for their resistance to dishonesty to be built up but also for their hearts to be transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit.

We take comfort in the truth that Jesus declared, "You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free" (John 8:32 WEB). This freedom is not just from the consequences of sin but from the bondage of sin itself. We pray that the eyes of the landlord’s team, lawyers, and legal representatives would be opened to the truth. May they see the destructive path they are on and turn away from it. May they come to know the freedom that comes from walking in honesty and integrity before God and man.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, acknowledging that You are the God of truth and righteousness. We thank You for the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus Christ, whose blood was shed for our sins, including the sin of dishonesty. Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness for any times we have lied or misrepresented the truth. Cleanse us, O God, and create in us a clean heart, that we may walk in Your ways.

Father, we lift up the landlord’s team, lawyers, and legal representatives who have engaged in dishonesty. We ask that You break the chains of deception in their lives. Build up their resistance to lying and help them to practice honesty in all their dealings. Open their eyes to the truth of Your Word and the freedom that comes from walking in integrity. May they experience the conviction of the Holy Spirit and turn away from their sinful ways. We pray that they would come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, if they do not already, and that they would be transformed by the renewing of their minds.

Lord, we surrender this situation into Your hands. We trust in Your justice and Your mercy. Give us the strength to continue showing patience and kindness, even as we stand for truth. Protect us from the harm that dishonesty can bring, and let Your truth prevail in this matter. We dedicate our lives to You and surrender our will to Yours, knowing that Your plans for us are good.

In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing firm in the truth, trusting that God sees all and will bring justice in His time. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9 WEB). Keep your heart pure before the Lord, and let your actions reflect the love and truth of Christ. If there are opportunities to speak the truth in love, do so with gentleness and respect, always pointing others to the hope that is found in Jesus.

We are grateful to be able to stand with you in this prayer. What stands out is your refusal to let hardship define your response. Instead of returning suspicion or contempt, you have asked God for grace to show the patience and kindness you have yourself known in Christ. That is a costly and beautiful thing, and it mirrors the heart of Jesus, who prayed for those who mistreated Him.

We hear a spirit that genuinely desires good for these legal representatives and others, not merely relief from a difficult situation, but that they would be built up in truth and spared from its consequences. That kind of intercession does not come naturally; it is a sign of God’s Spirit at work in you. When you pray for their eyes to be opened, you are placing them into the hands of the only One who can change a human heart. That is never wasted.

As you continue to walk through this, we would simply encourage you to keep speaking their names before the Lord when they come to mind, and to ask Him to protect your own heart from discouragement or weariness while you wait. He sees what is hidden, and He honors the one who leaves justice with Him.

Father, we thank You for the grace You have already poured into our friend. We join in asking that You would awaken a genuine love for truth in these men and women. Quiet any pride or fear that fuels dishonesty, and let them glimpse the freedom that only truth can bring. Guard our friend’s heart in perfect peace, and let Your will and Your justice be done. In Jesus’ name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Oh, that my prayer might be heard for those who are in bondage! The Lord sets free the men whose own hands have forged their manacles. This is Free Grace, indeed! See what sin has done to us all, but when a poor sinner comes to Christ for pardon, He freely forgives him. He saith, “I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake.”

It is far more possible for the Ethiopian to change his skin than for a man who is accustomed to do evil to learn to do well; yet Jesus has come into the world to break the gate of brass and cut the bars of iron in two. A praying man shall never be sent to perdition. In due time Christ died for the ungodly; He will come flying to their deliverance in due time.

Not only pray for it, but work for it, live for it! “I will seek your good!” Be in a fit state to meet your returning prodigal brother with a smiling face, for there is One among the people of God so fair and lovely that He more than makes up for all their imperfections. All in His house is yours, take the good He provides. May God bless you as you pass from word to work.

Truth shines forth on every side, even through the deeds and sufferings of its adversaries. You do well to pray for those who have practiced dishonesty against you, beseeching God to build up their resistance to lies. This is the mark of a soul trained in gentleness, and it shows you have learned to show the same patience and kindness you yourself have received. Yet while you pray for them, examine your own heart carefully. For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful waiting for judgment and fiery indignation which shall devour the adversaries, and by adversaries the apostle means not only unbelievers, but any who do what is against virtue. That fire, like a wild beast goaded by wrath, rests not till it devours its prey.

You have tasted the watering of the Spirit; do not become a fruitless tree, planted and tended in vain, only to be pulled up by the roots and handed over to hellfire. Ask forgiveness for any falsehood you have spoken, but ask also for the grace to walk in such truth that your very life testifies against the lies of others. For indeed, the chief priests sought to hide the resurrection by bribing the soldiers with money, yet the truth shone forth all the more mightily from the report of those very guards. So it is: truth is proclaimed even by its enemies. Your patient endurance, if offered without grudge, may be the means of convicting those who wrong you, stopping every mouth as the Scriptures do.

Pray, then, not merely that your adversaries may avoid the consequences of lying, but that they may attain to the blessedness of which David speaks: Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven and whose sins are covered. This forgiveness is the true freedom. It is not for those who merely suffer injustice, but for those who, by grace through faith, receive the remission of their sins. If this blessedness is not yet theirs, do not cease to intercede, that their eyes may be opened before that day when every willful sin shall meet the fire prepared for the adversaries. And for yourself, hold fast to the truth, forgive as you have been forgiven, and let your boast before God be found sincere, not a shadow of hypocrisy. Dedicate your life unto the Lord, and let no bitterness take root, lest you yourself fall into the same condemnation you pray they might escape.

Your prayer lays out the weight of this situation clearly, and it carries a deep truth at its center: Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. When dishonesty presses in, whether it comes from our own hearts or from others, that is the unshakable foundation. Lies are serious, as you’ve said, because they do not just bend facts; they attack the very nature of God, who is truth itself.

What you’re asking for your own mistakes is vital. It is easy to assent to truth mentally, to nod and say yes, I believe it, but truth must come into action to really take hold. When we have not been fully honest, owning that before God is the only path forward. He already knows the whole ugly truth of our hearts anyway, so trying to cover over it gets us nowhere. Confession brings it into the light where the blood of Jesus cleanses us. That’s where forgiveness is received, and it is also where we find the strength to walk differently.

Now, for the landlord’s team and those who have built a case on lies. To commit what they have, they had to break down every internal restraint against dishonesty. That is a chilling thought, but your prayer for them is right. You are asking God to build back up their resistance to what is false. This is not a small request; it is a spiritual work. The enemy is the father of lies, and he forges his deceptions against people’s minds. But the glorious hope is that God’s truth can break through any darkness. Truth dwells in us and endures forever, and through prayer, the Spirit can open eyes that have been blinded.

The world often despairs of finding any universal truth, resigning itself to a cynical “what is truth?” But truth does exist, and it is found in a person. Jesus declared that he came to bear witness to the truth, and that truth sets people free. It is not merely a concept to be debated; it is a reality to be lived. So when you ask for their eyes to be opened, you are asking for them to be delivered to see Christ, who is the true God and eternal life. Once a person truly sees him, sin’s grip begins to loosen.

Do not let the painful circumstances cause you to become weary in doing right. Sometimes sharing truth makes people uncomfortable, and they react with hostility. But we are not called to embrace a comfortable lie; we are called to walk in the truth, and that is a defense against all the enemy’s schemes. You have shown patience and kindness, and that reflects the heart of the One who first showed patience and kindness to you. Keep your loins girded with that truth, and keep that commitment in your heart to do what is right before God, no matter what others choose. That is your freedom, and it is your witness.
