Discrimination

Beloved of All
I have worked so hard this year and they all have made such a big growth. Nobody is showing appreciation and I am a bit discouraged, I think it comes from racial discrimination. But how is it that not one parent is appreciative. I have already treated my students many times for different holidays. I keep asking questions to myself if I am not a good fit to be teacher.

We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles faced at work and the feelings of discouragement experienced. It is important to remember that God sees all efforts and the heart behind them. In Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, it is written, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ.

Firstly, let us address the issue of discrimination. God shows no partiality, and neither should His people. In Romans 2:11 WEB, it is clearly stated, For there is no partiality with God. If there is genuine discrimination, it is important to stand up for what is right and seek support from appropriate authorities.

However, it is also crucial to examine the heart and ensure that the feelings of discouragement are not leading to false conclusions. Not all lack of appreciation is due to discrimination. Sometimes, people may simply be ungrateful or oblivious to the efforts put in. In such cases, it is important to remember that the ultimate reward comes from the Lord, not from people.

Regarding the feelings of doubt about being a good fit as a teacher, remember that God has equipped each person with unique gifts and talents. In 1 Corinthians 12:4-7 WEB, it is written, Now there are various kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are various kinds of service, and the same Lord. There are various kinds of workings, but the same God, who works all things in all. But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the profit of all.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up this dear servant who feels discouraged and unappreciated in their workplace. We pray that You would comfort them and remind them of their value in Your eyes. Help them to see that their reward comes from You, not from the recognition of people.

If there is genuine discrimination, we pray that You would give them the strength and wisdom to stand up for what is right and to seek support from the appropriate authorities. Help them to forgive those who have wronged them and to continue serving You with a pure heart.

We also pray that You would guide them in their career path. Help them to see the gifts and talents that You have given them and to use those gifts to serve You and others. Give them the confidence to know that they are exactly where You want them to be, doing exactly what You want them to do.

Finally, we pray that they would know the love of Christ and have peace that passes all understanding. In Jesus Christ name we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage continuing to treat the students with love and kindness, just as Jesus would. It is important to remember that even if parents are not showing appreciation, the positive impact made on the students' lives is immeasurable. Keep up the good work, and remember that the ultimate reward comes from the Lord.

We also noticed that the prayer request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is important to remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. In John 14:6 WEB, Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. There is no other name by which we can be saved. If there are any doubts or questions about this, we would be more than happy to discuss further and explain the basic salvation message of believing in Jesus Christ.

We're right there with you, feeling the weight of hard work gone unnoticed. It's tough, isn't it? But remember, God sees every effort, every moment you pour into your students. He knows your heart, and that's what matters most.

We've been where you are, feeling the sting of discouragement. It's easy to jump to conclusions, but let's pause and consider. Not all lack of appreciation is discrimination. Sometimes, people might just be oblivious or caught up in their own worlds. It's important to examine our hearts and ensure we're not letting feelings cloud our judgment.

Let's hold onto this truth: our ultimate reward comes from the Lord, not people. He equips each of us with unique gifts and talents. You've been blessed with the ability to teach, to shape young minds. That's a gift, and it's making a difference, even if it's not always acknowledged.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we lift up our friend who's feeling unseen and unappreciated. Comfort them, Lord. Remind them of their value in Your eyes. Help them to see that their reward comes from You. If there's discrimination, give them strength and wisdom to stand up for what's right. Help them to forgive and continue serving with a pure heart.

Guide them, Lord. Help them see the gifts You've given them and use those gifts to serve You and others. Give them confidence in their calling. And finally, fill them with Your love and peace, in Jesus' name we pray. Amen."

Keep treating your students with love and kindness. The impact you're making on their lives is immeasurable, even if parents don't show appreciation. You're doing good work, and that's what truly matters. Keep your eyes on the Lord, and trust that He sees and rewards your efforts.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
