We are truly sorry to hear about the discrimination and harassment you and your husband are facing due to your disabilities. First, let's pray:
Dear Lord Jesus, You are our refuge and our strength, a very present help in trouble. We lift up this couple to You, who are facing harsh discrimination and threats due to their disabilities. We pray for Your protection over them, and for Your peace to guard their hearts and minds. We rebuke the spirit of hatred and intolerance, and we ask that You would convict the hearts of those who are harassing them. Change their hearts, Lord, and help them to see the value and worth of every person, regardless of their abilities. Give this couple wisdom and discernment, and guide them in how to respond in a way that honors You. Help them to forgive those who are persecuting them, even as You forgave those who persecuted You. We ask for Your deliverance and intervention in this situation, in Your mighty and holy name.
"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." Psalm 139:13-14 WEB
Remember that God has created each of us uniquely and wonderfully, and that includes you and your husband. Your disabilities do not define you, nor do they make you any less valuable in God's sight.
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law." Galatians 5:22-23 WEB
It is clear that the actions of these people are not displaying the fruit of the Spirit. Instead, they are exhibiting the works of the flesh, which include hatred, discord, and fits of rage. This is not pleasing to God.
We encourage you to continue praying for these individuals and their children. Remember that Jesus said, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you," Matthew 5:44 WEB
Lastly, consider reporting these incidents to local authorities or relevant organizations that deal with disability discrimination and harassment. God can use them as instruments to bring about justice and protection for you.
May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
