Discouraged and disheartened.
Lord Jesus, You know my heart. You know my struggles. I should be honored to know even the tiniest of injustice that You Yourself had to experience. But I feel that I am failing this test. I want so badly to right this wrong, but I know deep down the battle is already lost. Instead of acceptance and forgiveness, I still hold resentment, anger, contempt, maybe even some vengefulness. Help me to turn this wholly over to You. It should be Your Divone Mercy I seek, not earthly justification. Ease my aching heart and quiet my restless spirit so that I can focus on doing Your good works.
