We come before the Lord with this request, seeking His wisdom and discernment for your workplace situation. First, we must acknowledge that all wisdom comes from God, and it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. As it is written in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." We also know that Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
Father God, we lift up this department head to You, asking that You grant her clear discernment, especially in the matters that have been brought before You. Let Your Holy Spirit guide her heart and mind, so that she may see what brings order, truth, and clarity. We pray that You would remove any confusion or deception that may be clouding her judgment, and that she would be sensitive to Your leading. As it says in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
We also bring before You the situation with this coworker. Lord, You know the confusion and toxicity that has been caused, and we ask that You would expose any unrighteousness and bring it to light. We pray for protection over this individual's work, focus, and peace. Father, we ask that You would help the department head recognize the right instructions, so that tasks can be completed well and without stress. We declare that no weapon formed against this person shall prosper, as it is written in Isaiah 54:17, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says Yahweh."
Lord, we ask that You would bring harmony, honesty, and understanding into this workplace. We pray that You would unite hearts and minds in the pursuit of truth and excellence. As it says in Colossians 3:23-24, "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ." We also pray for the coworker who has been causing confusion. Father, we ask that You would soften her heart and reveal Your truth to her. If there is any unrepentant sin in her life, we ask that You would convict her and lead her to repentance.
In all things, we seek Your will and Your glory. We pray that this workplace would be a place where Your name is honored, and where Your people can serve You with joy and peace. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
