We join you in lifting up this situation to our Heavenly Father, and we are grateful that you have brought this request before Him in the name of Jesus, for it is only through His name that we have access to the throne of grace. Your prayer is rooted in a heart that seeks wisdom, order, and peace, and we commend you for surrendering this matter to the Lord rather than relying on your own understanding.
The workplace can often become a place of confusion, strife, and distraction, but we know that God is not a God of confusion but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33). Your request for discernment for your department head aligns beautifully with Scripture, which tells us in James 1:5, *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* We pray that your department head will indeed receive this wisdom from above, which is *"first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy"* (James 3:17).
We also recognize the challenge posed by your coworker, whose actions seem to be causing confusion. While we do not know the specifics, we are reminded of Proverbs 22:10, *"Drive out the mocker, and strife will go out; yes, quarrels and insults will stop."* Though we are not calling for anyone to be driven out, we do pray that the Lord would expose any motives that are not aligned with His will and replace them with a spirit of cooperation and truth. If there is any deceit, manipulation, or selfish ambition at play, we rebuke it in the name of Jesus, for *"the Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy"* (Proverbs 12:22).
We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord with all your heart and leaning not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Even in this situation, God is working for your good and His glory. If stress or anxiety begins to weigh on you, cast those burdens upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Remember, too, that your work is unto the Lord, not unto men (Colossians 3:23). Whether your efforts are recognized or not, your faithfulness is seen by God, and He will reward you in His perfect timing.

Lord, You are the God of all wisdom, and we ask that You grant our sister’s department head clear and godly discernment. Open her eyes to see what is true, just, and aligned with Your will. Speak to her heart, Lord, and guide her decisions so that order, clarity, and peace may prevail. Remove any confusion or deception that the enemy may be trying to sow, and let Your truth shine brightly in this place.
Father, we also ask for Your protection over our sister’s work, focus, and peace. Shield her from the stress and distractions that seek to hinder her. Give her the strength to complete her tasks with excellence, knowing that she is ultimately serving You. If there are any ungodly motives or actions from her coworker, we pray that You would expose them and bring conviction where it is needed. Replace strife with harmony, dishonesty with integrity, and selfishness with a spirit of cooperation.
Lord, we ask that You would fill this workplace with Your presence. Let Your wisdom lead every decision, and let Your peace guard every heart. Help each person involved to act with humility, kindness, and a desire to honor You in all they do. We declare that no weapon formed against our sister shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we trust that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28).
Finally, Father, we pray that our sister would continue to walk in faith, knowing that You are her Provider, Protector, and Peace. Remind her that her value is not found in the opinions of others but in her identity as Your beloved child. Strengthen her to respond to every challenge with grace and wisdom, reflecting Your love in all she does.
