We lift up your dear friend before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, knowing the weight of her physical struggles and the urgency of her upcoming move. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician, who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds (Psalm 103:3). Lord, we ask that You would stretch forth Your healing hand upon her body, strengthening her immune system and bringing relief to her respiratory symptoms. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and sickness in Jesus’ name, declaring that by His stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5).
Heavenly Father, we know that Your plans for her are good, plans to prosper her and not to harm her, to give her hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). We pray that nothing—no illness, no obstacle, no delay—would stand in the way of her moving into this new season of care and community. Lord, grant her the strength she needs in the coming weeks, both physically and emotionally. Surround her with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let her feel Your presence carrying her through this time.
We also lift up the transition itself, Lord. May the logistics of her move be smooth, and may the staff and residents at her new home be welcoming and compassionate. Let this be a place where she finds comfort, support, and even joy in the days ahead. Father, we ask that You would go before her and prepare the way, just as You parted the Red Sea for Your people (Exodus 14:14). Let her step into this new chapter with confidence, knowing that You are her refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1).
Lord, we know that trials like these can sometimes lead us to question Your goodness, but we declare that You are faithful in every season. Help her to fix her eyes on You, the author and perfecter of her faith (Hebrews 12:2), and to trust in Your unfailing love. We pray that this time of weakness would draw her closer to You, deepening her faith and dependence on Your grace.
Finally, Father, we ask that You would bless those who are caring for her, whether family, friends, or medical professionals. Give them wisdom, patience, and compassion as they support her through this transition. May Your love shine through them, pointing her to the hope we have in Christ.
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). Amen.
