We hear your heart’s desire to seek the Lord’s will for this project and to walk in obedience before Him. It is wise and humble to ask for His direction and intervention, for Scripture tells us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* (Proverbs 3:5-6). The fact that you are already seeking His guidance is a sign of a heart that desires to honor Him.
The guilt you feel may be the Holy Spirit convicting you of an area in your life that needs repentance and restoration. We do not know the specifics of what weighs on you, but we know that God is faithful to forgive when we confess our sins to Him. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* (1 John 1:9). If there is unconfessed sin—whether in thought, word, or deed—bring it before the Lord in sincerity, and He will cleanse you. If the guilt stems from past mistakes, remember that Christ’s sacrifice covers all sin when we turn to Him in repentance. *"As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us."* (Psalm 103:12).
As for your project, we encourage you to seek the Lord’s will through prayer, fasting, and wise counsel from mature believers. *"Without counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established."* (Proverbs 15:22). Ask the Lord to open doors if this project aligns with His purpose for you and to close them if it does not. Be patient and watch for His leading—sometimes He speaks through circumstances, His Word, or the peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Let us pray with you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear brother/sister who seeks Your will. Lord, we ask that You would make Your direction clear concerning this project. If it is from You, open every door and provide the resources, wisdom, and favor needed to bring it to fruition. If it is not Your will, close the doors and redirect their steps according to Your perfect plan. Father, we also ask that You would search their heart and reveal any area that needs repentance or restoration. Cleanse them of all unrighteousness and fill them with Your peace and assurance of forgiveness. Help them to walk in obedience and to trust in Your timing. May they feel Your presence and guidance in every step they take. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
We encourage you to spend time in God’s Word daily, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourself with believers who can speak truth into your life and hold you accountable. Remember, the Lord delights in your desire to please Him, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Keep seeking Him, and He will make His will known.
