direction in the way i should go...

lord i am begging you for direction, lord i need a sign from you to know what i should do, lord i can't read what your will is and it is hard for me to take the right path when i don't know what it is...i need you lord, protect me, please god i am in so much pain and don't want to set myself up for more..please let me see your guiding hand so i know it is you..lord please reach out to me and throw me a rope so i may follow your lead, whatever it is please show me the right path..i know full well how to follow my own path but it leads to destruction and i have lived enough of that lifestyle to know it doesn't work.. lord i want to know your will for my life, please show me your will and plan, flood my soul with the knowledge of your will and plan and purpose for my life and for the life of my family...in jesus name amen

Help ### to feel Your presence and to hear Your voice, saying this is the way, walk in it. I pray all sources of confusion be removed, that you help him to think clearly with wisdom. Please Father guide him, strengthen him, help him to be the man you created him to be, strong in You, faithful, and merciful to others, as You have shown him mercy. Help him to see beyond the pain, to find hope and direction, to find more moments of gratitude and peace. Help him also to trust in Your plan for him, even though he cannot see now how it will all work out. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
