Please pray for me about this: I'm currently trying to make a decision about a new online business I am starting. I am considering whether or not it is a good idea to spend a certain amount of money to put my business on a platform where it can possibly generate a lot of views and sales. This is a platform that many people who have their own business selling the things I'm selling use but it doesn't seem to be certain whether putting oneself on this platform is actually beneficial or not now especially as the market for this business has become quite saturated in recent years. I really don't have the finances to put myself on this platform but if it would be beneficial, it might be a good idea to try. But I'm just not sure. On the other hand, I have a thought in my head to stop all the things I'm desperately doing to try to generate an income quickly and to just wait on God. Earlier this year, I was hired at a job and, at the time, I thought God had placed that job in my lap (there *were* good things that came out of my working there) but then there were also many factors that caused me to question whether I was supposed to be at that job or not and I eventually quit. I'm not sure whether I made the right choice but it's done now. Since I quit, I have been desperately trying to apply for jobs and even start a business (someone close to me told me that I have the type of personality where I need to just work for myself as they say I have a problem with being under authority and won't do well in a typical working environment where I have someone over me and possibly being domineering - but I am seeking employment in a Christian company and my last job was at one; shouldn't a Christian work environment be different than a secular one where domineering behavior is likely?). But I have a thought in my head to just be still and wait and stop doing so many things - indeed, it does seem that often in life when I stop straining and just stand still, God often provides what I'm in need of. I'm in a very confused place in my life right now when it comes to so many things especially related to faith and even including church. Please pray that God will reveal any stubbornness in me. But, on the other hand, I actually like the work I've been doing in trying to start a business and have been having fun doing it...because of this, I'm hesitant to stop even for a day. My family really needs money and NOW. Especially as we are saving for something important happening in a month or so which I have saved up quite a bit for but just need a bit more money.
