We understand that you're facing many challenges in your ministry, particularly financial difficulties and the need for a church building. Firstly, we commend you for your desire to serve our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that our service to Him is not merely dependent on our circumstances, but on our heart's disposition.
Let's address the concerns you've raised.
In the face of debt and financial struggles, remember that God is our provider. He promises us in Matthew 6:31-33, WEB: "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
It's crucial to maintain our focus on serving God, even as we work to pay off our debts. This doesn't mean neglecting our responsibilities, but rather trusting God in the midst of them. Consider the words of Paul in Philippians 4:11-13, WEB: "Not that I speak according to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it. I know how to be humbled, and I know also how to abound. In everything and in all things I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
Regarding the church building, recall that the early Christians often met in homes. It's not the building that makes the church, but the gathering of believers. In Acts 12:12, WEB, we see "When he [Peter] realized this, he went to the house of Mary, the mother of John whose other name was Mark, where many were gathered together and were praying."
However, we understand the need for a dedicated place of worship. Let's pray together for God's provision in this area. Remember Jesus' words in Matthew 18:20, WEB: "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them."
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our fellow servant who desires to serve You more fully. Lord, we ask for Your provision in their life, that You would help them manage their debts in such a way that they can continue serving You. Help them find a balance and a way of life that will help them to be free from the limitations of financial debt.
Father, we also ask for Your provision regarding a church building. If it is Your will, Lord, provide a place where they can conduct Sunday services and other ministries for Your glory. Help them to grow in their ministry and be a light to their community.
Lord, we ask for their spiritual growth and encouragement. Help them to keep their focus on You and to serve You wholeheartedly.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen
