You have done well to cast this heavy burden upon the Lord, for there are seasons when the soul feels as you have expressed, that the load is too great to be borne alone and no way of escape appears to human eyes.
Scripture tells us that every man shall bear his own burden, and there is indeed a burden of care and trial which each must personally carry before God. Yet the same Word also bids us bear one another's burdens, and more graciously still, it points us to One who bears the heaviest burden for us. The burden of sin, which is the most grievous of all, Christ alone can carry, and when you come to Him and get rid of your old burden, He puts upon you His own burden, and you prove that His yoke is easy and His burden is light. Not that the burden of life itself becomes light in itself, but His yoke becomes easy because the Divine Trinity comes to our help, and what would otherwise crush us becomes light in His hands.
Be encouraged that there is no attribute more comforting to the child of God than the doctrine of Divine Sovereignty. Your circumstances are not beyond His sight nor outside His hand. We ought to recognize God's hand in everything, and to know that His decree abides immutably steadfast. He is able to open doors where there seem to be no ways out, and to bring deliverance in a way that aligns with His perfect will, which is always wise and good and loving toward His people.
We often look for divine interpositions that are miraculous, but how strikingly has God delivered His people in ways not miraculous, yet full of wonder for all that. He delivers from floods of trouble, He preserves, He sustains, and He works all our works in us by His divine Spirit. The Divine Presence is the one hope of the people of God, and when He draws near, difficulties flow down at His feet.
Therefore, go in the strength of God. Take your burden to Christ anew, learn of Him, and rest under His easy yoke. Continue in prayer, for He hears the cry of those who seek Him through Jesus Christ our Lord, through whom alone salvation is found.
We join our prayers with yours now, that the Lord in His mercy would step into your circumstances, ease this burden according to His wisdom, grant you clear direction, open the right doors and close the wrong ones, and bring a solution that honors Him and gives you peace as you trust in His perfect will.
